I had a job around the corner from Pike creek hardware and needed a dryer cord. Stopped in and I was so happy they had it.
Their prices are very reasonable. And they have a nice power tool selection. I’ll go out of my way to go here.

If Lowe's and Hockessin Hardware had a baby, this would be it. They have almost everything a Lowe's or a Home Depot has on a much smaller scale.

Usually one off items or quick fixes mean a trip to Hockessin Hardware in Lantana. Anything beyond that meant a rather inconvenient trip to Lowe's.

This place is great for those in-between trips when you need more than just a bolt or simple tool, but don't need to visit a big box store. Their lumber looks straight, they have a small power tool section, every fastener and bolt you can think of, and they even sell outdoor equipment from fishing poles to off brand "yeti" coolers, to zero turn lawn mowers.

They aren't as cheap as a big box store, but I wouldn't expect them to be. The people are friendly and helpful and I don't mind paying a little extra to support a local small business.

Of all of the things that could have replaced the run down old Kmart, this is one of the best outcomes we could have asked for.

I couldn’t get my key duplicate in any of the minute key machines neither at Lowe’s key center, someone watch me walking back without any luck with my key, he highly recommended this store and I get why, Jose is the man. He went the extra mile.

this is a real hardware store as it used to be. i think their supply of nuts, bolts, nails, screws etc, and cedar, oak, etc. fine wood boards is more extensive than the big box stores. and the store personnel know what they have and where it is.
