Wow! I am impressed and grateful. I brought in my relatively new vacuum when it's stopped working properly. The lady working there basically said, "let me take a look," and in under 5 minutes it ran perfectly again.

I was ready to pay this woman, who was OBVIOUSLY knowledgeable and experienced in her field (which I respect and want to acknowledge though payment for excellent service) and she flat out refused.

The next time I need work on or purchase a vacuum, I'm going here (and I'll make sure this place gets a good tip).

I needed a rear hard-to-find filter for an old Oreck BB1200LR canister vacuum cleaner which has served me well for so long and does a better job than many of the fancy new Dyson‘s etc. Did a quick G Maps search and then gave Richards Vacuum Center a call, and they kindly offered to provide me with the filter material I needed. I was so impressed with their service and the store itself, that I had to let others know about it. This place is a local treasure for anybody looking for vacuum cleaner bags, parts or a new vacuum cleaner. Kudos to the owners and staff for such great service to our community!
PS: The filter material worked perfectly, and I'm back in business, mini-mission accomplished! 😀

Excellent service! Fantastic and friendly owners. Everything about them is five star! Bought a Titan 4000 to replace my broken Dyson. I have a working Shark which I like but I wanted a vacuum for upstairs and one for downstairs. Their customer service was above and beyond what I expected. Buy your next vacuum from here. I’ll be back when I have to replace my Shark. You get what you pay for.

Excellent service!!! I live two hours away from the shop, and my central vacuum stopped working. The staff tried to help me troubleshoot over the phone, but we were unsuccessful. Rick called me and walked me through the troubleshooting process step by step. He patiently stayed on the phone with me until we got my central vacuum working again. Thank you so much, Rick! I highly, highly recommend.

Had a service call completed at my home for a repair on my central vacuum. Richard was prompt and always returned my phone calls and to schedule the appointment. He arrived right on time and exceeded my expectations. He is so thorough and solved a few additional issues with my central vacuum system while at my home. I couldn't be more pleased and happy with the service he provided. In addition he is so clean, he took off his shoes, put my furniture back in place and left my house clean. He is honest and unbelievably fair on his pricing. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to have a repair completed or looking to purchase a vacuum system.

My brand-new Oreck stopped working. After some time spent in a on-line chat with an Oreck representative (who suggested I take the vacuum to a store in Jacksonville, more than an hour), I called Richard's. Very courteous over the phone, and the lady who helped us was friendly and professional. She figured out the problem and fixed the machine in about 20 minutes while we waited. I would recommend Richard's to anyone.
