I skip all other gas stations to come here on my way to work. An extremely friendly staff, coffee is always made fresh, and they even have a little dog treat station in the front of the market.

While gas is just a tad more expensive than the flat lander stations, the convenience offsets the few pennies difference.
They have a cooler wall with a wide selection of beers at very reasonable prices.
They have Lots of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages as well.
Now, my favorite item is a self-serve biscuit and sausage gravy. (someday I'll take pictures...)
Note: I've managed numerous food venues over an almost 50-year career.
This biscuits & gravy is delicious in spite of the fact that the ingredients are very basic and inexpensive. Over the years, I've used the same items. I recognize them. That being said, they are the best value for the buck in the region!!!
An average sized biscuit with sausage gravy that you ladle on yourself, and a large coffee is about $4.50. Even less if you bring your own cup.
Can't go wrong!

Wonderful place to go for many reasons. Staff is very friendly and helpful; a needed step back into the past. Food prices are cheaper than the big name gas stations. More than anything, great getting to know the people there, who help you start your day off right.

Visited today. Unfriendly staff. It still seems like a low key racist place where caucasians are the preferred customers, you’ll see if you observe the interactions between the cashier and customers and the type of customers that are the majority.

Well anyways, today, an old Caucasian woman made some weird comments to the cashier man that was working today. I’ve been coming to wrightwood purely to hike for the last 15 years and I very rarely stop at this market because I’ve always know it to be that way from my experience and from what locals told me.

I just don’t get how people like this still exist today, very archaic, especially in Southern California. It’s shallow. I would like to see this place treat everyone the same, with welcoming courteous respect for its customers (unless they are causing trouble of course).

I’m a local and can’t say enough positive about the market and gas station. We buy all of our gas here as their prices are comparable and sometimes even lower than off the hill! They have a great assortment of sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, and loads of other goodies and gifts. They are often less expensive than the market! The owners are wonderful and care about our community.

This little store is great!! Not only is the staff super friendly and kind, but they have gloves, mittens, hoodies, beanies and much more last minute necessities. We got gloves, hot chocolates and snacks for the ride home. Lovely place ?
