We visited White's Furniture on a weekday in August 2023. We were basically allowed to look at furniture without being followed or constantly interrupted. We were asked at one point, if we had any questions. And to be totally fair, we were mulling over a set and did have a question. As such, the salesperson (Cindy), was very good to deal with.
We did see a couple of items that we liked and are considering for purchase. But as of yet, we have not made a purchase. So I cannot comment on the purchase or delivery process. Only the pre-purchase experience. But there is a lot to be said for that.
We found prices to be on the high side. Some pieces more than others. But the furniture did seem of decent quality. Prices in general seem high in the area. The question is what you get for the high prices. The pieces we are considering in White's, are over priced in my opinion. But they seem to be of better quality than some pieces that we have seen elsewhere. So there's the dilemma.
I am not recommending or warning against White's. I'm only informing folks of our shopping experience without making a purchase. And for the most part, that was positive. Do with this review what you will. Buying furniture can be a long and tiring experience. Finding the right furniture can be worse. So being able to at least, shop in piece says a lot. That's where White's excelled for us.

Customer service was good but the Lazy Boy brand is bad. Remotes work only if you continually take the batterys out to reset them. Recliner was work on battery backup. New batteries and no operation. This is really bad when power goes out and you are stuck in a recliner.

Went to Whites Furniture and had a bad experience let me tell you what happened. My wife & I were looking for a dining room set and was greeted at the door by Bill Monti. We didn't need help, while browsing around found what we wanted, and went to find a sales associate to help us. We found Sharita James who was extremely helpful. When she went to retrieve prices , she came back and said Bill was going to help us because he greeted us at the door. Bill Monti came back and provided us only with furniture price and said nothing about protection plan, which we would have purchased. He gave us a total we asked him to write down the price because we were going to do comparison shopping. That's when he got extremely rude and said I've been selling furniture 21 years and he won't be shopped. We said who is going to spend $4200.00 for a dining room table without shopping around? Bill once again rudely repeated, I've been selling furniture for 21 years and won't be shopped. We gave him back his card and left the store AND WILL NEVER BE BACK!! One good note, we drove all the way Gainesville to Wood You Furniture and found a beautiful Dining Room table all solid wood no veneer with 6 chairs and a coffee table. We picked the stain colors & paint and they do it for you and deliver it all for $3600. Bill Monti was extremely insulting and very rude and would never recommend anyone at shop Whites Furniture.

Here we are over a year ago and if you read the reply they give about thousands of repeat customers they seem not to care at all about the ones that were not treated correctly or the sale's they miss because of the sales guy Bill Monte. Either way the feedback reply nothing but lip service. Which is ok I'm sure we weren't the only younger family that got that wonderful treatment. Just wanted to update my feedback. Thank You

I have recommended this place highly in the past and sent many friends there. However, it may be the last .
I was present when my friend ordered furniture it has or will be close to a month before it is delivered. That was not the case when she placed the order.
No one from Whites ever called with an update as to when it would be in, she called several times to find out when.
This is unacceptable.

We have been buying furniture here for 45 years, beginning with a Lazy
Boy rocker/recliner designated as my “ baby rocker”. We have purchased furniture for just about every room in our house from White’s Furniture.. sofas, loveseats, recliners, bedroom furniture and the now discontinued Jamison Mattresses. We’ve never had anything except a positive experience, from entering the store to exiting as happy, satisfied customers! The furniture here lasts a long time! We feel guilty letting pieces go as we update a little here and there! Mr. Arthur White is a true friend and honest businessman, and his son Lee was a young teenager when we met him. Now, he is the new “boss”, and we wish him the best. Our most recent salesperson was Martin… VERY knowledgeable and lets you LOOK, THINK, and DISCUSS, but is there quickly when you have questions. We are lifetime shoppers at White’s Furniture….thank you for making our Florida home so special!

Purchased a $2000.00 leather couch a year and a half ago. Also purchased a $200.00 additional warranty at the same time. An area of the leather has worn and faded. We are senior citizens so it’s definitely not due to abuse but to poor quality. We have tried to have this fixed by Whites especially since we thought we had an additional warranty. After many phone calls to the manufacturer and the store we are told they will not fix the problem. We are not covered for this type of repair ! I will never purchase anything from this store. They have very poor customer service and sell warranty’s that are useless. I would advise going elsewhere for purchases.

Went in there to look at recliners the saleswoman was outraged that I was in the store, so I left and bought elsewhere. I work as an RN just down the street, how is she selling anything
