We went to Essex for a viewing yesterday and picked up two containers of soup for $17.. They were delicious, so after the funeral today we picked up two more (same as yesterday) for $15. When we got home, we discovered they had charged our credit card twice for our order today. My wife is now driving 30 miles back to get it straightened out. Could not be done over phone. Be careful! Maybe pay only in cash and jeep your receipt.

One of my top favorite shops. The naturally clean scented candles and soaps are a pure luxury. I bought a child’s dinner plate, bowl, cup as a gift that was not only made from recycled material but adorable. A great mix of new practical home items and vintage nostalgic pieces. The music cd’s are great as dinner music. The owner is deeply rooted in the community and lovely to speak to. Stop in, you’ll love it.

This little shop is a gem in Essex. I can spend hours looking at the different items on display. A mix of antiques,, vintage, new as well. I believe that the owner makes frequent trips to France for many of her items. Really a lovely shop.

This is my favorite shop in downtown Essex. I never leave without buying something. The owner and the staff are wonderful. I love their cooking classes too. Such a great place!

I came here while visiting Essex CT during the Columbus Day Weekend. It was a very cool store to visit. There are some new products and some antique products. The products are a bit expensive, but it is great to support small business. I remember utensils, plates, and othering things around the kitchen.

Closed when I got here, despite info that it would be open I posted a photo that shows the chance nature of Monday and Tuesday. That's the reason for the rating. I did not get a chance to view the merchandise. Too bad, I wanted to.
