The worst experience of my life!! 1 star is generous! They extort money from customers by not fully informing them of their return policies!! Pathetic, unprofessional, condescending store manager!! Store stays in business by extorting customers with restocking fees!! On a scale of 1 to 10 a minus! 10!! Don’t shop here!!! This is the worst appliance store to shop at!! Consumers beware spend your money elsewhere!

We had a GE single oven for over 24 years since our home was built and after it finally gave out, we decided to try WDC appliance Kitchen and bath store in Moorpark. We selected GE once again because of the durability of the original oven. The double oven we purchased from the store along with a 5 year extended warranty we thought we would be set for years. The oven was clearly not made of the same quality and truly seemed like it came from a factory of substandard workmanship, quality from a third world country and as it turns out, lacking basic reliability. The bottom oven had a terrible slide rack system that would bind and we could not get them to freely move in and out of the oven. We knew this was a defective product so we contacted to store and they sent a technician out to evaluate. He concluded that the racks were defective and he ordered new ones. When they arrived, they were slightly smaller in gauge and seem to fit better, but it didn't last and the problem would return with the racks binding. The store sends you a follow up satisfaction survey via text, but when you advise them of the unresolved issue, you hear nothing back at all from them. Well about the 6 month mark, my wife was using the lower oven and opened the door after preheating it and was getting ready to place a dish on the rack when she heard a crack sound. She looked down and saw that the inner glass of the oven door had cracked inexplicably. When I went over and looked, it appeared the glass wasn't even tempered or heat treated in any way. All I can think of is the glass when opened and exposed to room temp air cause the substandard/defective glass to crack. So now the bigger issue. I felt this oven, with it's defective problems identified in just 6 months would cause the store to do all it could to address the concerns of the customer. I'm here to say that WDC does not seem the least bit interested in what kind of customer service it provides. It is difficult to reach there customer service reps, it is unprofessional, and it does not stand by it's products it sells. They tell you to take your complaint with the manufacturer. They don't seem to think a bad customer experience reflects on them in any way. They don't seem to care if GE is supplying them with substandard products. They aren't willing to make things right for the customer. Anyone would have to agree that a brand new oven should not have experienced these types of problems. As i said from the start, our Oven that came with the house went 24 years problem free. So I offer this personal experience to caution anyone considering buying their appliances at WDC Kitchen and Bath in Moorpark. I don't know what has become of GE company. I know their stock took a dive in recent years. But as a customer of WDC, I tried to make clear that I could not simply accept them only offering to replace the broken glass, when there is no assurance that this won't be a repeated problem. The store left me no choice but to file a complaint with the BBB. Unfortunate

Do not buy anything from WDC in Moorpark. I purchased a wall oven/microwave combo at WDC. Once the installation of the oven was complete and the initial test was done there were some serious operational and safety issues present. After a couple of calls with no response I had to go to the store in order to discuss the problems. We were assured by the salesman and store manager that they would work with us and make things right. That is where the customer service ended. I offered to return the oven for store credit and purchase 3 additional appliances at a much higher cost. I also offered to pay a reasonable restocking fee of 20 to 25%. Their one and only offer was a 50% restocking fee. That is definitely not a reasonable fee for an oven that was only turned on once to test. I requested a meeting with the general manager for an explanation of the 50% fee but did not get a response. My last visit to the store was an encounter with the store manager and I was told “We are done here”!
The sales staff is very good but once you have an issue and have to deal with management you’re screwed. You can get the same appliances at the same price point at other stores in our local area with excellent customer service.

Just purchased an LG washer and dryer. The 7.3 cf. dryer needs to run at least 2 more times to dry clothes. Even then after an extra 20 minutes I pulled them out and hung them up to dry. I contacted the company and they will not replace this. LG contacted by text me to check to see if the vents and duct work is clear. That is not the problem, it is brand new installation. No one has contacted me but passing the buck around via text. The policy is NO RETURNS, why

Our refrigerator was on its last leg so we did some research and went out shopping. Best Buy didn't have what we were looking for in stock or on the floor to check it out so we traveled out to WDC. Upon arrival we were met by a friendly salesperson named Scott. He informed us that he could get what we were looking for but it would have to be delivered first to their store and then arrangements would be made to have it delivered and installed. The delivery and installation was a small extra fee that my husband felt was worth paying for the convenience. Our estimated delivery date was given as a Monday. By Friday afternoon we had not been contacted so we made a call. Scott said they didn't expect to have it in their possession til Tuesday and he would be in touch as soon as they had it. By Wednesday afternoon still no word. My husband is a fireman and had only a couple days off before we left for a week long vacation and we were concerned our current fridge would die while we were gone so time was an issue (this was all communicated clearly from the get go. As a matter of fact my husband searched on his phone while we were dealing with Scott and learned they had the exact fridge in stock at Lowes with delivery available the next day, but we liked Scott and decided to buy from him anyways, and wanted to support a local "small" business). On Wednesday afternoon when we called, another gentleman told my husband that our fridge had arrived the day before "at 7 pm" hence the reason we were not contacted immediately. Still no explanation as to why we had to make the call to inquire on delivery but my husband agreed on a scheduled delivery day of the next day. He did mention we had doctors appointments in the afternoon so we had to be scheduled for a morning delivery. Later we receive an automated message saying our delivery window would be 1:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon. Some last minute calls were made an appointments switched. The delivery drivers arrived at the later end of the window. My husband had already removed our old fridge and set up the house for a very easy installation. The gentlemen who arrived were not skilled installers. Our fridge was damaged in the process of installation and also was not leveled out properly. Our doors are not level and the seal is not evenly spaced. Today, Friday, I received a call from Mayra in Customer Care. She asks me how our delivery went and I said not very good, but you'll need to speak to my husband about this and he's currently at work for a 24 hour shift. Her response was to ask me if the fridge is "working". I said yes and she said if my husband had a problem he could call her back. The end. Very short and unfriendly phone call for someone whose title is "customer care". I know this issue is not over yet but I would NEVER reccomend a purchase or delivery by WDC based on this experience. Waiting to hear how they plan to resolve our poorly installed appliance and damaged product.

0 star is what I would give this place.Horrible customer service. I was in the market for washer so decided to shop here. Walked in and no one said hi or acknowledged my presence in any shape or form from the 2 workers at the front desk. Walked around the sales floor, no one came to help or check up on me while I saw 3 people at the front desk talking to each other. By the time I walked out, they were 4 or 5 workers at the front desk and didn’t say anything at all to me except one guy just stared at me when I was leaving. Oh by the way, the only customers were there was this couple and I. Took my business somewhere else & went to Home Depot instead, where I got better service. I ended buying an Electrolux washer AND dryer.

Jeremy helped me out when I went in to find a refrigerator. He was very helpful, friendly and I felt like he was very honest. My refrigerator was delivered in two days and the delivery was on time and went very smoothly. I would recommend WDC to anyone looking for appliances.

I bought and had a dryer delivered, and the deliverers knocked off the corner of my walls, scratched and dented my door and my door frame (natural wood), and then they offered me $150 dollars for the damage. It doesn’t even come close to repair the damage that they have done. Don’t have anything delivered from this company. I’m going take this to court.
