Very helpful and friendly staff! I went there for paint and the prices are good. Lots of options of paint colors too. I highly recommend them. I was going go to go to a paint store in Rifle, but the service was so rude and the prices were much higher too.

Wonderful locally owned lumber and hardware store. Power tool prices are comparable to Amazon and big box stores, but the service is so much better! I have never had a bad experience here, love the people, and support the local community.

I went in today looking for a cleaning product. I started to speak with a guy at the counter and he walked away from me in mid sentence. He didn't say "be right back" or "I will be right with you", he just walked off. There was another guy at the counter and I asked him if they had the product I needed. He said, "I don't know". And that was it... he didn't try and find out, didn't ask someone else. At this point I am getting disgusted with the service standards at Valley Lumber and walked around to try and find the product myself. No one ever asked if they could help, I couldn't find the product on my own so I left. I asked someone if they are always this way and was told that the service here has been bad for a long time. My advice? Go somewhere else to spend your hard earned cash because Valley Lumber doesn't want it!

Valley Lumber is better than Home Depot on some prices but are exceptionally better than Home Depot in staff knowledge, expertise, and customer assistance. Valley has most everything a customer could want and is our go to place for everything we need to maintain our home.

I've been here plenty of times before, it's a nice place with lots of hardware type stuff as well as a decent pile of lumber out back.

It's a quiet place they have alot of things to get all types of projects done they are covid safe and friendly some things are pricey but when you live in a small town and dont want to drive and waste time it's worth the price
