Paid $170 for two vacuums to be cleaned. Usually I would do it myself but I ran out of time. This one wasn’t even put back together all the way. The filter and inside of the vacuum still stink (don’t seem like they were really cleaned). I won’t be going back! Cables are pinched and now I have to put it back together myself.

We called not able to find a model number in our shark cordless expecting intolerance at having to ask a question without the appropriate information but Barry was super friendly and walked us through describing the vacuum to help with our issue. Thank you Barry.

What a great experience! Barry not only knows vacuums and is rather passionate about them (especially the good ones ?), but gives excellent customer service. He is patient, considerate, thoughtful and thorough. I took in a carpet cleaner that he only had to look at to know and solve the problem. Within about 2 minutes!
Being in his store made me feel like I was back in 1963. Simple displays, peaceful setting, hand-written tickets, courtesy, the whole thing.
He offers all sorts of supplies for vacuums and carpet cleaners, so it can be one-stop shopping as well.
I'm sold. ❤️

Don't let some of the older reviews scare you. Barry bought the business a while ago. I brought my Dyson in for some work. Barry was honest and friendly. His pricing is competitive and he was accurate in his repair timeline. I would highly recommend the Barry & the Vacuum Center in Destin for your repair needs!

I have been doing business with the Vacuum Center for years and have been 100% pleased with their service and friendly and helpful attitude. Dave is a great salesman because he sells an excellent product. Just yesterday I brought my vacuum in for an annual service and because I live 50 miles away they offered to rearrange their schedule and get my vacuum cleaner ready in1 hour so I would not have to make an extra trip to Destin. What great customer service. Thank you. I would reccomend this business to anyone looking for the best cleaning products or service.

We have a central vac system for our house that needs cleaning and various parts. My Wife contacted this business and had the pleasure of talking with Barry the owner. He was professional, polite and knowledgable.

Barry offered to come to our home to remove the central system and do the repairs. He came this morning, on time. I could tell he is the owner of the company simply by the way he handled this. Highly recommend Barry and his business

Not sure why some of the reviews are so negative, my experience was quite nice & pleasant. They offered to bring the sand machine to our home so that we could try it on our shag carpet, which they did. How many businesses will go that far to please a customer, not many I can assure you.

As far as the Sand machines performance, it works beautifully much better then my Oreck or Dyson.

Last but not least, I mentioned all the negative comments that they have. It seems happy customers rarely take the time to write a good review which is true so I do want to let them know that their time and effort was indeed appreciated & I love my Sand Machine.
