I stopped into v&z alterations this morning with my mother's vintage beautiful little black dress and I told the seamstress that I wanted sleeves and she gave me a great suggestion to go online and look up black mesh tops that was very good advice thank you Nancy

I was horribly disappointed. She pinned the jackets just the way I wanted them and then did them another way. Then said I should have communicated better twice to me. She tried to fix it by stretching out the sleeves, but I am out 3 jackets now that I'll never wear. Also, her prices are twice what I have paid for other local tailors.

Brought in two dresses to get hemmed (no other alterations) and they are extremely overpriced. Quoted $200 for one dress and $80 for the other. Went to other seamstresses nearby and got re-quoted $70 for the $200 quote and $40 for the $80 quote. I get it the economy sucks right now, but being that overpriced is ridiculous. Two stars because the lady at the front was nice.

This place is a rip off. WAY too expensive. Additionally they don't stand behind their work. We brought my daughter there to have things hemmed for school. The woman there measured her. When we went back to pick it up, it was still too big. She wanted to charge us to fix her own mistake. We had some school emblems to put on the pants. She was supposed to call before putting them on with a price. Instead they just did the work and added about 40% to what they quoted us originally. I would not recommend this place there are too many honest places nearby. We will be disputing the charge unless it's fixed for free.

Prompt, professional. I needed my sons pants hemmed and taken in at seat area. I did the pinning myself and when the job was complete, V&Z decided it was not perfect length and asked us to come back in 2 hours. Great job!!

One of a kind.
Excellent service.
Quality work.
I have used them from dress up suits to motorcycle jackets and always deliver.
Cheap they are not. But few good things in life are.
