This store has absolutely stunning hats! They have a good variety of colors and materials. I got a straw hat and picked out a few different bands including leather, silk ribbons etc. The store owner, April, was very helpful in style and fit. They will also make custom hats for a perfect fit.

Hello! I'm on a road trip with my dog, Bella, and Sedona (my happy place) is our final destination before we head back home. A few months before our departure, I was searching for a cowboy hat to purchase as one of my big ticket souvenir items of the road trip to remember. I happened to find True West Hats via Google and liked their website and custom hat selection. I contacted the proprietor, April, in March (8 weeks before the trip) and we zoomed to measure my head and select the style and color of the hat I wanted. I arrived in May to pick up the hat and it was perfect, exactly how I envisioned. Just looking at it brings me joy and I hope to wear it from time to time, especially as I continue on my Great American West Road Trip with my dog. Thank you April and Charlie! 🙂

If you're looking for a high-quality hat in Sedona, True West Hats is the place to go! I’ve always wanted a nice western hat for my hikes but could never find "the one." During our vacation in Sedona last week, we decided to stop by True West Hats to check out their selection.

I had browsed their website beforehand and had a general idea of the style I was interested in. April was extremely kind, patient, helpful, and informative, making my selection process easy and enjoyable. I'm very grateful for her assistance!

Ultimately, I chose a Beaver x Rabbit blend in Carbon with a horsehair hat band. I usually wear a fitted baseball hat on hikes, but this hat provided excellent sun protection and great breathability on the trail. I absolutely love this hat and am excited to take it on all of our future adventures. Thank you so much, True West Hats!

My mother and I were visiting Sedona on vacation and came across True West Hats. Charlie the owner? And hatmaker was very helpful and friendly. He helped us for likely 20 or thirty minutes while we tried different hats and hat bands. We ended up buying two hats from them and are very happy with both. We definitely recommend True West Hats.

My fiancé and I walked in on Friday because the goal of my trip was to purchase a real western hat. I was thinking Stetson (the original brand). I tried some True West Hats on and we were late to dinner so I scurried out without talking to the woman behind the desk. On Sunday, we had time, and I needed to talk hats to get the low down on this big purchase. We walked in and met Sahasa. Game changer and game over. We learned so so much about hats and True West Hats. After getting fitted, I tried on 5 different ones, I was between the final 2 for 30 minutes. Sahasa was so so patient and lovely to spend time with. She showed us the entire operation of hat making and I walked out of there with a gorgeous hare hat, I haven’t taken it off. THANK YOU SAHASA I can’t wait to come back and get the mustard ?

Love my hat, love their customer service! I just purchased the most perfect European hare hat from True West Hats this past weekend at a music festival. The managers/owners + their hat maker were on sight and truly made me feel like they are professionals... and it shows in the quality of the hat. It looks fantastic and you forget you wearing it, it is so light and yet sturdy and flexible at the same time.At last a hat with "a soul" you can wear in the hot sun of Florida without sweating bullets !
