He has a wonderful design perspective that added to the ease in selecting shades. All of his recommendations were spot on. He communicated very well and let me know what would work in my space. He did not try to sell me more than needed or something that would not work long-term. The shades are absolutely fabulous and so solid!!

I had a fabulous experience with the Shade Store in Marina del Rey! The showroom displays a variety of customized window treatments and there are a many beautiful fabrics available. I was given complimentary swatches which made it easy to select which fabric worked best in my home. From my initial visit to the store to the installation of my new shades, I had superior customer service! The entire staff was very professional, knowledgeable and very easy to work.
I had the pleasure of working with Dalton who is a very customer focused window treatment consultant! (not a pushy sales person which I found with other window treatment companies) Dalton listened to my needs and provided me with a variety of options. Throughout the process, he was patient and gave me excellent guidance. Dalton was always very responsive to my phone calls and emails.
I also really enjoyed working with Mark who measured my windows and installed my new shades. Mark is a true professional with excellent skills!

Was very happy with the look and quality of the roller shades that I ordered, but honestly most impressed with Dalton and his customer service. He made the entire experience seamless and went over and beyond to handle a few small issues that came up. I am grateful for his attention to detail and helping me complete my project. I was shopping for window coverings for a rental unit. Durable and affordable were my top priorities, but he treated me and my project as if it was top of the line. UPDATE: I had an issue with my project and needed to follow up with Dalton to problem-solve. He continued to work with me and provide seamless customer service with the goal of getting it done right. There are less expensive options out there, but I am so glad I chose The Shade Store because when the issue arose, they stood by their product. I don't think this would have been as easy on me with another brand/company. Grateful for the commitment to service and lack of hassle to get everything installed right.

I am very happy with my wooden blinds and blackout shade from the Shade Store. The quality and workmanship is far better than the competition, the price is reasonable, and the online scheduling is so convenient and easy. And it was so nice to be able to go into the beautiful MDR store and see all the products on display. And Dale was such a pleasure to work with. He stayed on top of everything from start to finish and was immediately responsive to my calls and emails. I had the absolute best experience here! First off, Dale is incredible! He is friendly, knowledgable, and a fun human to work with when choosing window coverings. The company is incredibly accommodating. I'm a teacher and do not have a flexible schedule so making a weekend appointment for installation was incredibly appreciative. This company also stands by their products and when a mistake was made, they easily remedied it with out ANY hassle. Dale also personally checked in to make sure I was happy. The products are quality - I got three different types of shades for my rooms: roller shades, a curtain and blinds. They are each beautiful and utilitarian. Also, there is a LIFETIME warranty on all of the products. I am so happy with my window coverings!!!

From the beginning meeting and order to the installation of the custom shades from the Shade Store this morning, their representative Dalton Rawson was exceptionally helpful, always returning any phone calls and emails promptly and keeping on top of a rather complicated order in another county, which required delivery of the shades to the Thousand Oaks store, and a separate delivery to our beach house in Ventura County. The installers, and the original men who came out to take all the measurements were prompt, professional, polite and quick. I was so. pleased, I am now thinking about changing some drapes we have for one of their products.
