Highly recommend. Bryan provided top drawer, expert customer service. He was a friendly and excellent communicator and answered all of our questions in detail. We shopped around and found that The Floor Store offered options that were important to us that other stores did not offer. Pricing was great, and Hank and his installation team was efficient, on schedule, skilled, and totally professional. The so-called "discount" carpet stores don't offer the options and service that The Floor Store provides. No need to shop anywhere else.

Kevin and the manager helped me to solve my problem, so they will retouch the trim for the thresholds, I hope the work is pretty good.

Kevin at Richmond was good for consulting at the time. But I am not satisfied with their finish. I have never seen like this finish. They have work properly, but the work for finish looks unprofessional. You see the pictures. I am complaining now(Second), so I will repost it when they do last work. Also they didn't work for other two. They make us so mad.

A reputable store should not sell defective products. Straw Hickory from Heartland Collection is defective. I know it's a natural product and color and character varies, but if the variation is above a reasonable threshold, simply admit the product is defective and take it back.

Look at the photo. Sample 1 is close to the sample I saw. Sample 2 no idea... Sample 3 - dark brown zero knots. Sample 4 - All stripes and knots. Sample 5 - milk... No, this is not normal, no, this is not within the boundaries of a natural product. It looks like several products were mistakenly packaged and sold together. Not acceptable.

Is the store at fault? Yes - If the product has such a wide variety, provide a sample large enough to illustrate the overall effect. What I was presented with was not illustrative. Or, allow returns or exchanges. Or simply stop selling defective products. Let me know if you need clarifications.

My husband and I were looking for the right carpet for a small media room in our home. We needed a quick solution to get install done before our moving truck arrived.

We worked with Micheal. He was on point! Super knowledgeable, patient and just all around helpful. He listened and offered solutions without pushy selling, gave us plenty of room to breathe. When we had follow up questions, communication was easy. He helped save us from getting product we didn't need which made it easy for us to feel confident to add on flooring for our kitchen.

Great guy, great service. We chose them over Home Depot for both the service and turnaround time.

The installers were unprofessional and gouged walls and damage floor boards that the Floor Store Company in Richmond stated to me was normal when I showed them pictures. My contractor will need to fix my walls and baseboards that was painted and installed earlier. Also the company the Flour Store used to do the install had a guy come that I found out did not have a drivers license to drive the truck. The Floor Store staff did not apologize or offer to pay for any damages. I will never buy carpet or flooring there again. I have used other carpet stores that did not damage walls or baseboards.

We had a great experience with the Floor Store in Richmond, Cal. Dennis, the sales rep, was very patient and informative. When we located a product at another store, he ordered it for us. He kept us informed about the status of our delivery. He answered all our questions about installation, etc. We highly recommend them.

I have noticed this store sitting in traffic on numerous occasions but didn't have a reason to go in. Last Friday (11/16) I was referred to carpet contractors for carpet (near Costco). I arrived at 3 and was pretty much rushed. The Rep at the counter advised me numerous times of the 4 o'clock closing. Was absolutely unhelpful in every area. Needless to say I left. Upon departure I remember the floor store. My transaction was complete in less than 30 minutes. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, i got a super deal. I was able to get the color I wanted, the carpet type was a better grade than I expected to get for my price and it was available in store. Too bad I won't be needing carpet again anytime soon. I will for sure refer this company and will always use them for my flooring needs. I would definetly suggest trying this place first.
