People in town had mentioned this place. Large space with time period pieces from all over the world. Staff were so friendly. Beautiful items to look at everywhere. Definitely need time in here to carefully look through things. Furniture was absolutely stunning and kept in tip top condition. Parking lot on site. Hidden gem in Stamford, CT.

I recently called seeking advice for some large vintage & potentially antique pieces of furniture for a friend. After making several calls to local consignment and resale shops with no luck, I was grateful to speak with Kiersten. She didn’t leave me empty handed, instead she offered several helpful suggestions & shared valuable insights on next steps I could take for appraisal or disposition of the items. She was, hands down, the most helpful person I talked to in this local industry. She was also sensitive to the fact that these old items may have sentimental value to us even if they aren’t valuable on the market. I sincerely appreciated this high level of customer service. Been going to this shop for over 20 years. Even when Stamford was an antique mecca, A&AG has always been a must-go stop. Alas, it is the ending but still contains a wealth of great items in the realm of vintage, antique, and antiquities to make the visit worthwhile any time of year. Stay true A&AG!

Matt was great. Very quick to answer any questions I had. Ended up getting a very nice little anniversary gift there. Very nice place to walk around and look at as well, lots of interesting finds. Also got a great recommendation from them that led to a very nice lunch for me and my son over at Colony grill. Thanks again for the gift, the service, and the meal recommendation.
