We contracted Chad on 6 Jan 2024 to complete a recovering of our interior cushions, contraction of new cushions for the cockpit and covers for the cabin top grab rails and hatches. We made clear we expected them for early May 2024. The interior cushions were not done until 1 July 2024, the boat was launched in April 2024, so we lost two months of our season. It is now 2 Sept 2024. We still have not received the rest of the order and all we get is a constant string of lies and false assurances. Buyer beware. We absolutely do not recommend Sunnyside Marine.

I had interior cushions made and Chad and Julie spent a lot of time helping us decide on type of material to use and how best to match to our existing furniture. The cushions they made fit perfectly and were installed in a timely manner. We also ordered exterior flooring from a vendor who had patterns for the boat and we hired Chad to install them. When he received the flooring from the vendor he wasn’t happy with the exactness of the fit so without asking just redid them at no additional cost to his higher standards. They fit and look great. Highly recommend for canvas , enclosure and flooring jobs

We contracted for our work to be done over the winter of 2016 into 2017 and were assured our enclosure would be finished by the first week in April. Instead, the scheduled was continually pushed back (after the 10th time, we stopped counting) and it wasn't until mid-July that the enclosure was installed - though not completely - on our boat. The common-sense fasteners were installed willy-nilly with no symmetry at all- no shared distance from each other and no common horizontal line. The grab bars we ordered were not installed and the stitching was showing signs of is pulling apart on the dodger within weeks of installation because it was not reinforced. We gave Chad every chance to make things right but we were continually put off. We cannot recommend him.

I have changed my 1 star review to a 4. It took some time to get over my frustration. Looking back i thought it would be fair that while the below statements were true... Chad and team stood by all of their work and the finish product came out excellent. They also credited me “x” amount for their mistakes.
I know they wish things went better and it’s hard to ask for more than that. Life goes on and i hold no grudges. Thanks for standing by your work. Many other companies can’t say the same. That is true Character!

Our experience was very similar to DS who also left a review. In short, we had a contract and secured a 50% deposit in September or October of 2018. We were assured by the end of April 2019 our canvas would be installed. It is August 15th and the work is 98% complete however after repeated visits Sunnyside can’t seem to complete the job so that everything works properly. We have lost weeks of enjoying an already short season working with Sunnyside... nice folks but just can’t recommend them.

Sunnyside has completed 3 projects for me. All were on schedule and at reasonable prices. The t-top canvas is very well done and extremely sturdy.
