THIS IS NOT ME ( J R) REVIEW. IT'S FROM A CLOSE FRIEND (TK). SHE SAID THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR A LOVE ONE.HER HUSBAND LAID IN POOP FOR ONE HOUR AND A HALF, HE WAS PUSHING HIS ALERT BUTTON. ONE NIGHT SHE CALLED NURSING HOME, SHE STARTED CALLING CHECKING ON HER HUSBAND AROUND 8 AM, SHE WORRIED ABOUT HIM UNTIL SHE FINALLY WENT TO SLEEP AROUND ONE AM THE NEXT MORNING. NO ONE EVER CALLED HER BACK.. SO SHE DON'T DRIVE BUT SHE HAD TO FIND A RIDE OUT THERE FAST, TO CHECK ON HER HUSBAND.

My brother-in-law was at The Springs of Batesville for several weeks and our family consensus is that these folks are miracle workers. The nurses, rehab staff, aides, cleaning crew, were all wonderful. Even the food was good…not just “edible,” but good!

He had been in a different facility following a fall last year, but the business office at The Springs went out of their way to help us find resources and programs no one had ever told us were available.

I almost hesitate to share what a positive experience we had because frankly, when word gets out, everyone in town will beat a path to their door.

So, I have to start out by saying I just quit here, not because of anything bad I am moving to California. I will say I am going to miss the residents so very much. I have grown to love all of them. I am the type of CNA that really doesn't care which hall I'm on as long as I know the residents are taken care of. As far as staff my favorite people are Nikki and Karrabi. I worked night shift and them 2 alone deserve more than 5 stars they were great people to work with and I appreciate all they did while I was there(they deserve a raise). Day shift I didn't really get a chance to know, but they were so kind to me when I was going through a rough time and they have no idea how much their kindness meant to me in that time. The reason for 3 stars is because of a nurse and a CNA that thinks they can bully people and get away with it. Kamika (may have spelt her name wrong)the nurse likes drama will start drama between CNAs and she called me out of my name and yelled out me demaded me to shut up and in all honesty she acted extremely unprofessional and should not be a superior to anyone and Laura the CNA is really just a power hungry person in general and really isn't a good CNA in my opinion. I'm not going to go into detail but I believe people have a right to know who is taking care of their loved ones. I am glad I am moving on and my journey will continue in California. To the residents I wish you all well I am going to miss you all dearly. And to the staff I wish you all happiness and please take care of the residents they need you and your kindness means more than you know to them. This review is based on my experience so take it with a grain of salt because your experience could be completely different.

At first the associates greet you kind and friendly then you ask someone for help and you might see them in several hours if then. I’m from Florida and just my experience with some of these people is unreal. There is one lady that works out there her name is Shonna Horta (CNA). She loves her patients and is very thorough doing her job and deserves recognition. Karrabi Wison (LPN) when you ask her something she gets right on it, very kind young lady, deserves to be recognized (LPN) Then there is Chasity Richardson (CNA). She is a very kind hearted, hard worker and takes care of her patients. It is very sad when you have several nurses that work the day shift and don’t do half of what the night shift does. I feel like the day shift nurses just don’t care and it is very sad and I hope none of my family has to ever stay there again.

I must say that my opinion of this Facility has changed. You have taken good care of my brother in law as he is taken this last chapter of his cancer journey and soon to gain his Heavenly reward. And a huge thank you to Hospice for helping him and my sister. Keep working on making this Facility the very best for your residents, Facility, and families that trust you all with their family members. Have a very blessed day.

I just want to tell you how much I appreciate Glenda. I have mobility problems and she always helps me with my gown. Thank you for having her stationed up front to help. Mom looked good today. She looked clean and well kept. Thank you for taking care of the precious person who gave me life. I appreciate it so very much!!!

Mom has been here for several years. And she has always got good care here at The Springs. The staff, from the nurses aid, all the way up to administration, have always done as we asked and if we talked about any kind of special treatments or decisions that we had made concern in my mother. Very understanding and compassionate bunch of folks.
