I installed the leather seat kit in my 1986 Piper Archer II last month, and couldn't be happier. The only issues with install, were of my own doing. Daniel and his shop did an outstanding job of providing a product that, in my opinion, is far better than the other upholstery kits available. The quality, materials, and attention to detail are very apparent when you hold the product in your hand, and once installed they look truly amazing.

Thank you Daniel for the guidance, suggestions, clarification, and for making this undertaking enjoyable and satisfying.

I would suggest anyone about to redo your seats to watch Daniel's videos a few times, have plenty of clamps, gloves, & disposable brushes available, and work on one step at a time (ie: cleaning, stripping, etc....) on all the seats.

The one problem I created for myself was on the first seat, I completely removed all glue, and sanded most of the paint on the frame, I primed and spray painted the frame, and decided to let it dry for a day before gluing on the seat sling. Well..... the PolyTak did a very nice job of removing the fresh spray paint and making a bit of a mess. The other seats were prepped differently, a soft wire wheel attachment on the drill, removed the glue very well, and left the paint intact.

All in all It took about 10 hrs total to complete the four seats over two days. It was enjoyable to work with such a quality product. It was very rewarding to see the beautiful seats once done.
