We searched everywhere for someone to reupholster our RV couch, front seats, and dinette cushions. We finally found Carlos who was very fairly priced and easy to work with. We didn’t know what to expect since this our first RV but he did incredible work! We never could have imagined our seats looking so nice. It was done in a timely manner and he constantly sent us pictures to show progress. With 4 kids and a dog, we now feel like these seats will last a very long time! Thank you Carlos!

Carlos and his family team at SE Marine Interiors are true crafts people, and the communication skills and "bedside manner" are exemplary. Carlos would provide constant updates and pics on the progress of our job, and completed it quickly and impeccably. It is rare to find a vendor in the marine industry with the same level of professionalism and diligence. I am reluctant to write this because I do not want anyone else to find this hidden gem. They can only stretch so far.....and we want them all to ourselves!

Great experience with Carlos. Friendly, honest, and fairly priced my job. Communicated when he expected the materials and actually got my project finished ahead of schedule. Highly recommended.

Sadly, my second experience was nothing like the first. I asked him via text if he had time for another job. He said he would have it finished within 2 weeks but needed 50% deposit. After 3 months of empty promises i asked for my money back. Thankfully he returned my deposit.

We had our interior cushions redesigned by Carlos in March of 2019. The shape of the back and seat and the configuration is so much more comfortable and useful for us. His attention to each detail and fitting required multiple visits to the boat to get it just right. He consulted with us about different foam density for some seats and even seam placement to have right look and get the comfort desired. He is a perfectionist but still very easy to work with. Though it took a little longer than first anticipated because of weather, we could not be more pleased. The material sits and wears exactly as described and is very easy to clean. The back and seat support of the cushions is wonderful. We have a trawler and spend long days cruising now comfortably. Carlos increased the comfort, value, and WOW factor in our boat. Guests are always amazed. We recommend him very highly. Here are some pics of details of just the salon.

While Carlos does quality work, his ability to do anything on time is a joke. Lie after lie after lie that cost me time and money waiting on him, had to do some of the work myself. He drove up to CT to fix months later, but didn’t follow through to finish causing damage to the enclosure and has gone radio silent again after telling me he sent the parts 3 times. All lies. There are many reputable shops that do not treat customers this way. Spending $30k and to be treated this way is a lesson learned. Do not give him any business and go elsewhere, you’ll be glad you did and have been warned. Multiple accounts of this, not an isolated case.

This past Monday we were on a hunt for an upholstery company in the Stuart area. We came across a lot names on Google and decided on Carlos to do the job. Our biggest hurdle was that it needed to be done by Friday as we were leaving with the boat. His shop is a family owned business and after talking to him and seeing his previous work we felt comfortable with him doing the job. To our surprise not only he had the proper materials at his shop, the job was done the same day and was amazing. The cushion matched the color perfectly. Him and his daughter work together at his shop. They are excellent at their work, and it shows in every detail, and together with their years of experience speaks for itself.
I highly recommend them and will be seeing them again when I'm back in town for more things I need to get done.

Unfortunately, my experience with Southeast Marine Interiors has been underwhelming and owner (Carlos Moreno) has not followed through on numerous delivery dates. We have waited over 19 months for a sofa upholstery job.

UPDATE (4/26/2023): Carlos reached out in response and three weeks have passed without progress photos or completion.

UPDATE (6/1/2023): Carlos states he will have the couch done by the end of next week. No progress photos have been sent over and no work has been completed.

UPDATE (10/4/2024): Carlos has not completed project to date. October 16th will mark 3 years from when we wrote Carlos Moreno a check for the deposit to cover materials.
