I had a last minute change of plans and needed a place to stay in Lake City. We were able to get a room at the Silver Spur Motel. It met all of our needs. The staff were very kind and helpful. The owner John was so very sweet. The rooms are neat and clean. I loved that it had a mini kitchen with microwave, refrigerator and stove. It is right in the middle of town and we could walk to the shops, restaurants, river and town park. I would stay there again!

I’m writing the review on the gift store side of the business. We were so excited about all of the wonderful gift options there were to choose from and each walked away with several things. The variety and uniqueness and quality and price were all superb. We got to chatting with the owner about the town and local school, etc. and he was so kind and friendly and very proud of his small hometown of Lake City and the strong athletic and academic success of the high schoolers. We were happy to support the small businesses of Lake City and will definitely be coming back.

Very clean and cozy. Breakfast included with mini options. Mineral Springs swimming pool and two soaking tubs open 24 hours. The only drawback was the internet was very slow and not reliable. Very friendly and courteous service. Great views!

Very nice little place to stay right in the middle of town. Good rates, clean rooms and cry friendly and helpful staff. Everything in the town is within a 5min walk and there are several good bars just seconds away. Little liquor store with a good selection right next door to the office as well. Highly recommend this place!

Reasonably priced. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Satellite TV. I didn't book in advance and we had to move rooms after the first night. The 2nd room we stayed in had a kitchenette and was only $10 more.

We did not stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly. They have some great designs on t-shirts and hats and lots of nink-nacks.

Quaint,Nostalgic, centrally located, wonderful staff that puts in extra effort on attending to your every need. Clean rooms that range from sleeping rooms to kitchenettes complete with all amenities. Generations of family guests have made this their
home away from home.

The gift store had a large selection of things and the prices were very reasonable! I was impressed! The gentleman that owns the place was really nice and gladly answered all of our “touristy” questions about the area and town. I would definitely recommend stopping by this place!
