Our technician, Rob, arrived as anticipated, was polite, professional and took the time to explain his service as he conducted our preventive maintenance under our extended warranty coverage. He was purpose driven and concluded his work in a timely manner, finishing with a good report on our washer and dryer. The Technician was fabulous; knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The communication however through the portal is terrible. Chat is with a ChatBot, not a live person. My appointment was rescheduled at 4:50pm the day of my appointment, after I had taken the day off from work so I could be available all day. There is no one to communicate with. You just receive an auto text.

Keith, the contractor for Sears Appliance Repair, saved us and our home from a potential fire! After determining that our Samsung dryer itself was not the cause of it not heating properly (and not drying clothes), he investigated our electrical hook-up. By shining a flashlight into the 240-volt outlet, he saw that it was damaged. (The day before, a floor refinishing contractor had used the outlet the previous day.) Keith recommended that an electrician install a new outlet, which we were able to accomplish immediately. Keith also gave our old reliable Kenmore washer a quick look and the thumb's up. I really appreciated the late night online booking service, which was able to schedule Keith for the following morning. Sears provided timing updates that allowed me to keep a doctor's appointment. I appreciated Keith's politeness, honesty and thoroughness in diagnosing the whole problem--not just the dryer. Thank you, Keith and Sears!

I've had the sear warranty Cinch for about 8 years now. All the Sears technicians that have came to my house have been very pleasant and have completed the job well. On the other hand if your ever trying to get ahold of somone over the phone be prepared to be on the phone for a hour plus. When you finally get intouch with somone they will just give you the run around because not one person you talk to knows whats going on with you appointment or parts or when somone will be able to come fix anything. Unfortunately I've had more then one terrible experience and after having to use the warranty a few separate occasions and having similar experiences i will be canceling.
