This little outpost of the original Scott's is always on our agenda if we are around the Hartford area. Cannot beat their beef patties! We always get several because you can't stop eating one once you have started. Perfection!

Fried Festival was to hard and didn't taste like festival. Fried saltfish Fritters was to thick and had more onions than saltfish

Loved it all. Red pea soup, catfish fritter and pound cake. Perfect Left me warm and full. Ladies behind the counter patient and accommodating.

I grew up in Ct went to church with the Scotts grew up eating fresh patty and cocoa bread after school; so, when I came home to visit my mom, I wanted a patty. I was disappointed and sadden by the poor taste and quality of the food. I order a veggie patty, and fried whiting; the patty was lukewarm, bready, and the veggies were overcooked (it did not taste good at all). The fried whiting was also overcooked, dry and cold. What saddens me is with the high cost of food I had to throw it all away; none of the food was edible. Mr. Scott God rest his soul; would not be happy with the quality of food the restaurant is servicing. What's even more troubling is we are servicing our own community poor quality of food. I will never go back:(
