Pacifica is very lucky to have the Sanchez Art Center! There are a lot of talented artists in and around Pacifica. The Art Center has free admission on weekends when they have exhibitions on, and they have multiple exhibits per year. Typically there are three exhibits at a time from different local groups or artists. Sanchez is the "home" gallery of the Art Guild of Pacifica, which hosts several exhibits per year there. Sanchez Art Center also has rental studios for artists, and hosts open studios once or twice a year.

A real gem. This wonderful center was formed by local artists and the local community over 25 years ago. Murals, exhibition spaces, art studios and classrooms. What a wonderful vibe and what exceptional art. I never miss the annual 50|50 exhibit in the Fall. Check out their website. Always great art to experience.

I attended Silicon Valley Open Studios, and visited at least a dozen artists in their studios. It was wonderful to see how and where they work, in addition to the art produced. It seemed to be a vibrant community. I'm a bit jealous I don't live closer!

What a wonderful place. I went there to drop off my art for the Fog Fest Photography Competition ( a shameless plug ) and ended up staying for their newest exhibit which is truly fantastic. The staff is warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend getting involved in some capacity.

Great art. The building feels a bit dated, like an old high school. The corridors are rather tight so viewing artwork along the walls can become a tight situation quite quickly. Lack of paved parking lot is a little bothersome but not bad, at least they have a lot. Overall nice venue ?
