Friends invited me to go ice climbing in Lake City this year and after doing some research I found that you can rent your climbing gear here! I called and got Christian's voicemail so I texted him and he got me all set up with my rental. (It's on the website) Super easy! The shop itself is a lovely gift shop with a wonderful variety of unique gifts- highly recommend! You can also grab a coffee, ice cream, or WAFFLE. Super chill vibe and easy to rent and pick up climbing gear. I would definitely rent my gear from Christian and his team again. If you're lucky you'll see him drive out to the ice wall and hand out fliers for a free coffee or ice cream. Most excellent! Thank you!

Great place for ice cream and super friendly people! The amount of ice cream is generous highly recommend you to visit when you come to Lake City, CO

I posted the original review was 4 years ago, and was just visited Lake city again last week. Updating some photos ?

I tried root beer float with vanilla ice cream and another float with peanut butter cup. I like the vanilla float better.

I had butter pecan and cookie n cream ice cream. Butter pean was great and my sister had roasted coconut, I got to try some and I think roasted coconut is the best, not too sweet and very creamy.

You can always ask to try any flavors you would like before purchasing.

Been here every summer for the last 4-5 years and every single time, I leave loving it even more. The people working are so friendly and the store itself is amazing. I love the outdoor seating as well. Super unique and beautiful. 10/10 on all levels.

A sweet little shop! We stopped for ice cream after hiking Redcloud and were delighted by the whole experience. It was busy on a hot Sunday afternoon! We got split singles (a favorite ice cream shop trick) and loved all 4 flavors that we tried. It's creamy as all good ice cream should be, and the flavor range is extensive! As other reviews mention, there are lots of thoughtful items for sale that would make great gifts--I would take home one of every mug if I could! If you find yourself in Lake City, you probably need this ice cream.

Great ice cream. Staff is super friendly. Be prepared to wait in line, but they move you through quickly.

Edit: Waiting in line is not a bad thing, just means everybody wants some. It's that good.

Family stopped in for ice cream. The BEST! Waffle cones are made fresh and you can tell. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. It is definitely a repeatable place for a treat….so don’t wait until the last night!! ?

Best ice cream around! Definitely suggest the caramel frappe and the coffee oreo ice cream. We visited multiple times and never disappointed. The line may be long, but they are pretty fast, and it's well worth the wait.
