I dropped off two stamoid/stratoglass covers in need of button, velco, and zipper repair after hurricane Milton. Rob of Salty Tailor had it done in 24 hours. It wasn’t a big job, but it was a big job to me. He said he had a large project starting soon and I came at the right time so he could squeeze me in.

He did a good job, super fast and I highly recommend him.

I most certainly recommend this shop for any of your boat canvas needs. Rob and Isaac created a full cover for my Vantage 240 that literally fits like a glove. Although a full cover, the design they created is very easy on/off and less cumbersome to handle and install as compared to some OEM partial canvas covers that I have had in the past. There was a lot of attention to detail and fit during the entire process of design, creation and fabrication. I'm looking forward to seeing the hardtop custom T-bag they are now making.

Salty Tailor made a custom shade cover for our Boston Whaler last summer that came out great. Fast forward 7 months later when we stupidly left it up on a very windy day cruising across Sarasota Bay and one of the fasteners snapped off. It was totally our fault for not thinking to take it down in heavy wind going so fast. Salty Tailor did the repair quickly, delivered it to us and didn’t charge us. Great customer service. For those of us who love our boats but seem to never stop spending money on maintenance and upkeep I can offer you the name of a great service provider for repairing, replacing or reupholstering worn out boat seating.
I was very fortunate to find Rob of the Salty Tailor through my boat’s maintenance provider.
My upholstery was shot, Rob came over and looked at the equipment and gave me an estimate which I felt for the large amount of time and materials was very fair.
Rob is extremely courteous and professional.
He installed my seating today and it looks incredible.
Outside of all that I’ve said, he comes to your home, removes the bad equipment, does the work at his shop then returns to install it instead of having to take the boat to a service provider.
I urge anyone requiring this service to give The Salty Tailor your business.
You will be equally amazed and satisfied as we are!
