My kids love going to Sadie's sweet shop. They love the variety and the independence to pick their own candy. We have grabbed wonderful treats for holiday functions, which have been a crowd pleaser. We recently attended a birthday party that the kids talked about for weeks.

Sadie's Sweet Shop is a new on fleek candy shop in down town Putnam, CT. The store has something for everyone, whether its, by the pound, candy bars, lollipops, organic candy, catering and parties. The owner was very "sweet" when I came into the store the other day. She greeted me with a smile and made sure that if I needed help, just ask. A very friendly staff and a "sweet" shop! Would recommend to any age.

Sadies Sweet Shop has a large variety of candy for any and all occasion. The owner is very knowledgeable when it comes to other flavors and colors offered in the candies I had asked about. I noticed she even took notes for possible suggestions on additional flavors. I highly recommend any of their services and will definelty be returning in the near future.

My daughter had a wonderful birthday party candy land theme. The decorations and games were perfect and all the kids had a great time. The owner was professional and had everything prepared. I would definitely use them again.

This place has potential but right now it is not setting the bar very high.
This almost seems like a run of the mill candy shop you can find in most malls across america...but not as big and with less selection. They do not carry anything unique or interesting, just the standard well of candy by the pound consisting of various gummies, jelly beans, etc. Some old fashioned penny candy the type which can be found in abundance at Five Below or at the front of any Cracker Barrel. Actually those other stores offer more selections.
If they add some different offerings and find a niche product that you can only find there it will be worth a visit. But as of this visit, it's "been there done that" location. If you're in Putnam and develop a sweet tooth for candy, they have candy, but you'll soon forget the visit.

Not what I expected. Went in looking for some sweets.
First thing is it reeked like 'skunk' walking in the door. I had to look around to actually see if I was in a shop selling edibles.
The candy selection was limited, and the candies they had were almost out of stock.
Soooooo, I decided to get some cupcakes out of the case.
Two different flavors. We could not eat them. The cupcakes were hard and dry. It seemed like they were old and for sale just to get rid of them.
Very disappointed. Won't be back.

My daughter's party here was nothing but flawless! I apologize on behalf of my aunt for the bad review she left. My daughter did not get sick from having her party here. Wonderful place to have a party and the owner is extremely accommodating
