It's just amazing what you'll find here. So you think some pieces are rare or scarce? Rudy might have 50 or more. This place is not to be missed.

Rudy's the best! Always friendly and organized! He always knows where everything is! Lots of restoration items ...buildings full! I refurbished a 1940s circa door a few years ago and just went back and bought some antique door knobs and plates for another project I'm working on.

This is one of those have to go places. Especially if you love old houses, it should be on your bucket list. Rudy is truly a delightful man with years and years of old house expertise. His place is packed with the kind of things you just do not see anywhere else. Exceptionally well organized with fair, no nonsense prices. I took me a six hour one way drive to get there, but well worth the trip. Planning on going back soon. Just so much to see. Among the great things I bought was a nine foot wide fireplace mantle. In order to get it into my eight foot mini van Rudy meticulously disassembled it without damaging any of the fine woodworking details. Highly recommended.

All the positive reviews say it all! This place has always been able to fulfill my reclaimed lumber needs at a VERY reasonable price!

Rudy is an perfect fixture to this community! Old school cash transaction. I bring all my woodworking friends and family here to share the experience.

I have been buying restoration "stuff" for my 1750 home from Rudy for over 30 years. He is a very pleasant, honest, intelligent and reasonable man, happy to talk about old houses with anyone. He is a tresure trove of info. and we are missing out because nobody has written a biography of his life so far. What a great place to find a authentic treasure, or to just browse and chat with Rudy.

I have an old colonial in Mansfield, and for any restoration work I only procure materials at Rudy’s . He explains the material, and historical context of every item - he is a true historian and New England anthropologist. Floorboards (pine and maybe oak) from 1720 - 1820 are 5 or 6 usd per square foot. That’s cheap for what you’re getting. Never will he try to take advantage of you or overcharge you. Beautiful hand-wrought 18th century ironware: the place is a museum in itself.

Extensive selection of antique windows, doors, wood beams, planks and hardware. Very well organized, reasonably priced and Rudy knows his inventory.

Fantastic finds! So many recycled items in great condition. For inside and out, fireplace mantels to ball and claw tubs, doors of all sizes, metal fences, and radiators! If he doesn't have it your out of luck!
