Wish I had known about this place years ago. Bought a Dell XPS 8930 about 6 years and while it performed well over the years I never like all the Dell propriety crap it came with such as Support Assist and Dell backing up my PC to their server - and the inability to use Msoft restorer. Their customer service was a nightmare and every tech I spoke with over the years always contradicted each other. My system recently crashed (which was a blessing) because it led me to RST. From the get go Ron was pretty certain it was the NVME card but he went through a full steam lengthy diagnostic (almost 2 days) and it was the NVME. However, when I got it home I ran into a problem and he fixed it remotely - the problem being (unbeknownst to me) my PC was seeing 2 displays when in fact I only have one. I can only imagine Dell tech support trying to fix this. My PC has never run better or this fast! Essentially, I got a brand new computer for a little over $200.00. Thank you very much Ron. I will certainly use you as a referral. I will be bringing my old Toshiba laptop to him next week.

I have a 13 year old laptop and I was starting to be concerned about how much longer the old spinner hard drive was going last. I asked Ron to evaluate the rest of the components to see if it was worth keeping and installing a new SSD for storage. The answer was yes and I am thoroughly satisfied with the results. Boot up and shut down times are now 1/3 of what they were. We decided on a "clean" install with transfer of data only and that was the way to go. No more "bloatware" from an off the shelf computer. I just re-installed the programs that are important to me and everything is working just fine.

This is not my first experience with RST Computer Service. Ron built my very first computer about 30 years ago and I have been a customer ever since. He has also been a reliable source to answer questions about products available for various needs and he will give you the straight scoop. No "bloatware" with Ron. I refer all people to RST when I hear they are in need of honest, reliable service for their computer and/or peripherals.

I'm so glad I found RST Computer Services! My hard drive decided to fail one morning when I had a big project due in a few days. Ron installed a new hard drive and a clean install of Windows the same day. He went above and beyond by cleaning up my machine and making a few improvements to the hardware. Ron and RST-Computers acted very quickly and professionally to diagnose and correct a hard drive failure on my laptop, while saving 95% of the data files (documents, photos(I'm a photographer), etc). In addition, they streamlined the laptop to my liking by giving it a Windows 7 look and feel. The weekend before this past Thanksgiving ('21), my 1.5 yr old Lenovo Windows 10 laptop started "hanging" on any function including copy and paste. I decided it was probably about to crash and madly tried to save photo files I was planning to use for an upcoming Photography exhibit with a deadline of just 1 week later. I managed to save the important file to a flash drive, and then the laptop died. As my career was information systems (25 years), I wanted a computer repair company with people I could speak with directly, who had similar experience, so I started researching companies locally. I did not want to go to Office Depot. RST-Computers is the closest of the 2 I considered. I sent an email about the issue via their website on Saturday after closing, and Monday morning 9 am I got a call. I dropped off the laptop around 10:30-11. Ron checked it out while I was there and we discussed my experience. It turns out the hard drive was bad and he replaced it. I reloaded all of my own proprietary software and so far everything is working great. Ron was so easy to talk to and was very professional. The laptop was ready the next day, and the pricing was very reasonable. I'll be taking my husband's laptop over for a tune-up soon. Plus I found out that they recycle old electronics. I've been looking for someone to do that since we moved here 7 years ago. Thank you so very much RST-Computers!
