I’ve taken my family to Rosedale Farm many times over the years. It’s a place where my grandchildren can get a glimpse of the life I enjoyed when I was their age.|I grew up with a love for the rural South although my dad moved farther and farther away in pursuit of better jobs. I always looked forward to visits with my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who still lived near Piggott. Whether helping out a little on the farm or in the garden, catching a stringer of bream, or playing a game of cards called Pitch on a rainy day, it was the vacation I looked forward to the most. |Things have changed over time, but Rosedale Farm is just like grandma’s. It’s a cozy little place with comfy beds. However, it’s been beautifully restored with modern conveniences including cable TV and WiFi. Thank the Lord for air-conditioning. It even has a washer and dryer if needed. |I can bring my grandkids and avoid having to rent multiple hotel rooms. I can have the benefit of the feel of home in a quiet location while staying close to restaurants or fast food if that’s what the kids want. I can also invite relatives and friends over for coffee or dinner at “our place,” and let them carry on with their busy schedules without having to care for us. |Our host, Bert, is most gracious. He insures that Rosedale Farm is well maintained and spotless. He keeps the large bathroom stocked with an abundance of fluffy towels, and stocks the kitchen with our requested breakfast items along with a few of our favorite snacks. He’s on standby 24/7 to assist in any way possible.|Letting anyone know about Rosedale Farm is kind of like letting someone in on the location of a great place to fish. Still, I can’t stay there all the time even though I’d like to.

A friend and I stayed here during a recent visit to the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Education Center for a writer's retreat. We fell in love with this charming 1917 home the minute we set foot in it! It is absolutely adorable, with two separate bedrooms and a very large bathroom. We brought some food and drinks with us, but the owners had the two refrigerators well-stocked with lots of yummy food, and the full kitchen has everything you need for eating in. There's a lovely dining room in the house, but we ate most of our meals out on the front porch. The bird watching and tranquil setting were irresistible.||||If you feel like walking into town, it's about a 20-minute stroll. Bert, the proprietor, and everyone we met in town went out of there way to make us feel welcome in Piggott. The Rose Dale is a great choice for a number of excellent reasons, but one is that the train -- which goes through town several times a day, day and night -- can only be heard from a distance. (If you stay right in the heart of town, bring some earplugs.)||||I loved everything about my stay in Piggott, and can't wait to come back again. I will definitely stay at the Rose Dale Farm!

Myself and two co-workers in the area to work for the week. We recommend it to anyone who comes to the area to work and not have to stay in Paragould and drive back and forth to Piggott everyday. We came on short notice but was greeted with a cozy, comfortable and immaculately clean home for the week as well as a basket of fruit, snacks, and cold beverages. We stay in hotels each week for our job and this was a nice break from hotels. The accommodations and hospitality were as nice as we get in the hotels. The only thing we would recommend is another bed; preferably on the back porch instead of the futon in the living room. The beds in the two bedrooms were very comfortable!!!

I have lived in this town most of my life and moved away to South Dakota 17 years ago. Coming home for my granddaughter's graduation was such a blessing for us, but finding this home I had driven by so many times was the greatest find. It is an old home that has been restored and is the cutest, quiet, best retreat there is around Piggott. The beds were the best I have ever slept in. Everything anyone would need was there including a washer and dryer. The price is a steal. I forgot how nice it is to be in the southern part of the states, where there are lightening bugs, frogs singing at night and whippoorwills. Rabbits were our friends. It is on the edge of town but close to the grocery store to get anything you would need. Far enough out of town to have the quiet and peace and the sound of the train whistle I grew up with in the distance but close enough for family and friends to come by to visit and visit all the stores in town. I will be back for more memories Rose Dale Farm.

If your looking for home away from home and great service look no further. Bert and his wife have you covered @ this well kept B&B. This two bedroom one (huge) bathroom Bed and breakfast also has a sunroom breakfast nook. You'll find, with over 17 acres this is just the place for some R&R. Rich in history and small town America feeling, this will be just what your looking for during your stay. Bert will share history of Piggott and his Beautiful bed and breakfast with you. So go ahead ask away. There is so much to see in just such a small town. Bert and his wife Bonni know where all the good places are around town. Want to stay a bit longer than a few days. Mr. & Mrs. Lewis will even pick up any parcels at the post office if you need him to. I recommend staying for awhile..... put your feet up and just enjoy what this B&B has to offer.

A truly lovely place. Clean and well stocked. Comfortable, hospitable, interestingly and charmingly decorated.

There were five of us girls, including my 90 year old mother, on an ancestral mission tour of Malden, MO, where mom's grandfather (c.1867-1937) and parents (c. 1898-1994) were born and raised.

We appreciated having the whole place to ourselves and that we just made our own breakfast with plenty of good, hot coffee with ingredients provided by our host.

I left an item at the house, and called our host in panic. He made a search, found the item and graciously mailed it to me all the way to Oregon! Thank you so much Mr. Host!

Your happy guest from Oregon,
Debra

Can't say enough. If you need to get away and enjoy the sounds of the country this is the spot. My wife and I stayed here while in town for a board meeting. Very relaxing. This is where Hemingway would come w his friend who invited him to go hunting. They would have a drink here after the hunt, at his friend's home. He left some rings on the secretary.

The home is so cozy. We felt like we were being welcomed home by our family during our long weekend stay. The views and sunrises are breathtaking. Every amenity was provided. What a wonderful and relaxing place.
