Great looking furniture and prices don't look exorbitantly high. Most importantly flexibility is available, where you can pick a style and adapt it to your needs (color, size, type of material, etc.).
Staff is helpful and well informed without being condescending as it sometimes happens in such establishments.
One issue that I noticed when looking at the details is that certain parts (table tops, cabinet doors) were not perfectly aligned. This may be the installer's mistake or error in production; I hope they fix that.

This is a terrific store with high-quality furniture and accessories at relatively reasonable prices. (I'm thinking relative to, e.g., Design Within Reach). The staff are uniformly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and it's fun just to walk through from time to time to see what's new. We've bought about a dozen items (dining room table, love seat, chairs) and have been happy with them all.

Bought all of our living room mid century modern from here. Lots of variety on the floor and very helpful staff... Knowledgeable and friendly.
Parking was very tough. Mall was hard to get around. Recommend you check maps and know where you will park and how to get to your store before you get on the car.

The service from R&B from UTC San Diego was wonderful. I want to especially thank Tiffany Bailey our design associate. She listened to our ideas, always responded promptly and has a great design sense. Together we achieved a lovely room.

This is a surprisingly large furniture shop. They have a lot of variation on each furniture so you can find one to your taste. They have both indoors and outdoors furniture

Fabric sofa is horrible. One year old and lost shape, a ton of feathers and is very worn. We hardly used this couch and getting rid of it after a year.

How to Lose an Established Customer After the Sale:

Over the years I’ve purchased many items from Room and Board but this past one was an unnecessarily bad experience.

We all know R&B sells good quality furniture but they just drop the ball at the other end of the business - the customer experience - with bad policies, poor logistics, and indifferent personnel.

I was given a delivery window of several hours and received numerous communications I would be notified by the driver just minutes prior to the delivery.

On Delivery day I waited. And waited. I called R&B Delivery Support (I wonder why that have this number at all). R&B promised to check with the driver and call me back. Nothing. No show, no call back, no delivery.

At delivery time I had to leave. Sometime thereafter I got a call from them and a stream of excuses for the missed delivery. Not interested in any of this, I asked when they can reschedule.

Their response, “Well sir, we’re very busy and we have other customers to take care of first, so we’ll have to reschedule you sometime in the future.”

What about me? Why must I wait for you to fulfill orders that came after mine? What is fair about that? If you cannot give me a delivery date, why are you even calling me? To tell me what I already know? That you missed the delivery? And you don’t even offer a new delivery time?

Take your table back and refund me please. And, I give you this review as my only way to express my displeasure for offering nothing but excuses, and offering the customer nothing in terms of fulfilling his purchase. This is known as How to Lose an established customer.

Based solely on their face mask policies. I’m vaccinated(Pfizer twice), have a breathing issue and they still insisted I wear a mask even though CDC does not mandate them nor does the state. Sales guy for really rude and asked me to leave. Tells me they’ve been slammed all day and I’ll have to wait 25 minutes for a sales associate once I’ve put on the mask. It’s not March 2020 folks. Let the CDC do the science and stick to selling furniture.

I Have spent mid 5 figures on their furniture over my life but no more. Now it could be that these sales people are undercover scientists that know something about masks for the vaccinated that Fauci doesn’t know…. Or it could be that they need to relax. Either way we will NEVER spend another dime there.shame- their catalogs are cool. In store shopping experience is terrible
