Called on Sunday to obtain information about dishwasher pump and harness compatibility and sales rep was rude and insulting. Was told it was my job to look up part/model numbers and he would not give me any helpful information. Continued to talk over me and cut me off. Do not recommend using this company.

Two of the burners on my 20+ year old gas cooktop weren't lighting, I walked into this shop, talked to the owner and after describing the problem and walking me through a few troubleshooting questions he knew exactly what the problem was. I was impressed with his knowledge and he had the parts available in the shop. I swapped out the parts, (it took me longer to give the inside of the cooktop a deep cleaning than it did to swap out the old parts for the new ones) and voilà my stove is working perfectly!

107 outside. AC fails. Think it’s the capacitor. It’s Sunday. ace, Lowe’s and Home Depot dont/wont sell capacitors. But this place is open on Sundays? And sells them? For cheap? Alleluia! He even tested my old capacitor I brought in with his multimeter (without asking). Yep it’s bad. Tests new one: here’s how it should look. Best 28.50 I’ve spent. Would have given him 200 lol. Support this business!

Staff is helpful and they carry what I need to repair my Samsung washer door boot. I am really glad that my local store actually carries so many different parts and thanks to them, I was able to fix my washer the same day it was broken.

I went to Appliance Parts East to purchase a water pump for my Maytag washing machine. When I got in there, Stan was on the phone with a customer for at least five minutes trying to help him troubleshoot his problem with their appliance. I was really impressed with the level of customer service, and knowledge that Stan had in providing free advice to customers over the phone. The second time I went in there there was a customer in the store, asking Stan, a bunch of questions, and once again, he was giving them advice on things to try to troubleshoot the problem. Stan could easily just be a parts store, where he only sells parts, but he also offers free advice, which is very rare these days to have somebody knowledgeable and give you advice without charging. This is the only appliance store that is open on Sundays. Most appliance stores are open Monday through Friday or Monday through Saturday but he is open on Sundays and it’s really convenient when you’re trying to repair your appliance on a weekend. I will definitely be buying my parts there because I know I will be sold the right part.

My Maytag dryer of 12 years broke a few weeks ago, and I was concerned about having to buy a new one, and wondered if I could fix it myself. I did some research online for what might have gone wrong and what parts I might need.

I went to Appliances Parts East and spoke with Stan. Not only did he have the parts I thought I needed, he advised me that I might not need all these parts and what might be the most likely cause of my problem based on the symptoms my washer was exhibiting.

I replaced the part Stan recommended and my dryer came back to wonderful life! Appliances Parts East is great, but it's really Stan that makes this shop so awesome.

Stan is a great guy. Very helpful. If you want him to order a part call 2 times, he won't order it on the first call because he says too many people abandoned their order. Or go in to the store.

I called him Monday night after 6 and he answered told me what I could do and bring him. He is closed Tuesday (gotta have 1 day off). Removing the part was as simple as he said. I brought it in today, Wednesday. He checked it for me and we found the solution. Easy. I didn't even spend money. This guy was great. Way easier than I could get on YouTube or Google.

My dad has been going to him for years. Highly recommend Stan and his store for DIY appliance repair.
