My 2009 microwave malfunctioned on Sunday morning. Smoke was billowing out of the appliance and I wasn’t sure it could be saved. I phoned Reliable Appliance on Monday morning and a tech came to my house Monday afternoon. Brian was very professional, respectful and efficient. He diagnosed the problem (blown transformer), ordered the part and told me it would be fixed before the end of the week. I received an email shortly after my diagnostic visit, saying the part was available and my appliance could be fixed on Tuesday. Brian returned Tuesday as scheduled and promptly fixed my microwave. It’s working great.

Brian, the repair man, came out next day, was super kind. Advised us that fixing the microwave would cost approx $360 where as buying a new one would be about $200. Helped us remove the old one mounted above the stove as well.
I still had to pay about $150 for the diagnostic test & visit which seems a bit steep, however I was aware of this at time of Scheduling.
I will be using them again for any repair needs, especially Brian!

The service man, Brian, arrived after advising us that he was coming. Luckily for us only the belt was bad. He had a Replacement belt on his truck and installed it on our Maytag dryer. I was surprised at how long it took to install the belt, but apparently he worked steadily at it. The price of around $250 just to replace one belt seems to me to be exorbitant. Next time we need service on our washer or dryer, I am highly inclined to try someone different simply because of the extremely high price to install a simple belt.
I gave a higher mark simply because it looked as though the service man did a good job. I cannot blame the service man for the very high price which The Company charged for a simple belt replacement.
