BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT SHOP HERE

I am appalled by the unethical and deceitful practices of Reeds Furniture. I recently ordered two sets of chairs from their website, where it was clearly stated on the product page and at checkout that each set included 2 chairs. My online receipt confirmed that I had purchased two sets, totaling 4 chairs. However, when I arrived at the store to pick up my 4 chairs, I was shocked to be told that their website was incorrect, and the price I paid was only for 1 chair per set, not 2, despite the website clearly stating otherwise. To add insult to injury, I was informed that if I wanted all 4 chairs, I would need to pay more than the amount confirmed on my receipt.

This is absolutely unacceptable and reeks of a bait-and-switch scam. It is outrageous that a company would not honor the price and quantity per listing as advertised on their website. This type of behavior is not only dishonest but also a blatant violation of consumer trust.

What kind of company conducts business this way? To lure customers in with one price online, then demand more money in person, is nothing short of fraudulent. This experience has been infuriating to say the least.

I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with Reeds to think twice. Their practices are deceptive, their customer service is atrocious, and they clearly have no respect for their customers. I will NEVER shop here again, and I urge others to steer clear of this company unless they want to be treated with the same disrespect and dishonesty.

Over the past 5 years my wife and I purchased many pieces of furniture at Reeds. During that time we worked with salespeople Daniel and Anthony, both of whom were very nice and helpful. Most recently we purchased a dining room table, six chairs and a couch. We were very happy with all the pieces we chose, except for the couch, which had a problem. Julian (the owner of Reeds) worked with us extensively to get that issue taken care of. We greatly appreciated and were thankful for how professional and approachable he was, and how much time he spent to reach a resolution that my wife and I felt was completely satisfactory and fair.
