They say the starters have a guaranteed lifetime warranty as long as you keep the receipt. Took my starter to go get it warrantied. They said they cannot do the warranty. I had the receipt showing when I bought it and they still would not warranty it. So be warned cuz not all their stuff has a warranty on it like they say it does. It was a defected starter and they still would not warranty it out.

Bought a new battery on 7-12 -22 it never as started my car. Yes I've charged it at home all for day's. Still will not start the car. I will never ever buy anything from them. They told me..... I was out if luck you might as well go buy another one. I left it there for 2 hours I was told too come get it after they charged it. Come to find out they hot shot it.... You all lied.. If it's not showing bad on there meter they can't do anything. So I called interstate and they talked to you. You lied to me about charging it. So I'm out 150 bucks. Because I'm not driving it to Joplin so they can charge it. Poor Man is right... Stealing money from a lady. I hope your proud of yourselves. Never Ever buy an Interstate battery...... Because the place you buy it from won't help you at all. I should have went to O Riley they would never treat me this way. But that one time I thought I should support a small business in town. Never Again

Not only is Poor Man's a great source for automotive and more, but they have a computer genius working there by the name of Archie who just solved a very frustrating problem with a program that Windows refused to recognize. Archie can also build you a computer. If you've never been in Poor Man's, I urge you to go in and look around at the huge selection of items like parts for lawn equipment, phone accessories, tools, and if they don't have it in stock, they can probably order it. The staff is top-notch.

Drove an hour to get here to have them build some custom AC lines for me. Took 30 minutes, and he did good work. Not nearly as expensive as i planned on it being. Glad I made the decision to drive out here. I'd recommend to anybody

It's nice to have two auto parts stores in a small town. The real benefit at Poor Man's is they can make hoses and hydraulic lines to match on the spot. Also, they have lots of welding supplies and can exchange Airgas bottles. Belts, inner tubes, blades, and many many small engine parts and electrical components as well. They are like an auto parts house, small engine supply, tractor supply and radio shack all rolled into one.
