We took a hard hit from hurricane Idalia and got 16 inches of water throughout the house.
It's incredibly hard to get contractors to just show up, look at the work needed done and get a reasonable quote, let alone come back and do the job. However, Momber and Son delivers for us every time.
We needed drywall work and painting done. I gave Derek a call, we used him before and were quite happy.
Derek arrived in a day or two to look over the house, give an account of the work needed and delivered an estimate shortly afterwards that we all agreed on.
The three man crew arrived and tore out all the wet drywall and baseboards. It took longer for the interior of the walls to dry out than it did to do all the work, but this was a necessary recommendation.
For health and safety concerns, a black mold repellent was used and it sure did the trick.
The guys hung and textured the new drywall. They finished by painting the walls and baseboards, and now it looks better than before the storm.
The last part was a complete walk through with Derek. We looked at every part of the job together.
I am very satisfied with Momber and Sons timely and professional work. I would highly recommend Derek Momber for your drywall and painting jobs.
