I recently had my screen rescreened by Lancy, and she did an excellent job! She promised it would be ready by Tuesday, and true to her word, it was ready on time. I’m really impressed with the quality of the work. I also want to thank Sue, who was extremely helpful in providing all the details and informing me over the phone that the hardware store offers this rescreening service. Both Sue and Lancy made the whole experience smooth and hassle-free. I highly recommend this service!

Couldn’t return an item I tried and didn’t fit for a latch strike. Obviously you have to open the package to check to see if it fits, not all doors are made the same. Unfortunately, cashier refused to refund because item doesn’t look resellable.

Great small local mom & pop hardware store. Located in the south shore shopping center, in Alameda, CA. It is behind the McDonald's, by the beach. They have a nice inventory. And the prices we're reasonable. I went there for big bottle of chalk & chalk line. If I remember correctly, I paid about 20 USD. Great place for basic hand and power tools. They also stock some electrical, plumbing, paint and other building materials. I may be wrong. But from what I noticed, Store is too small for lumber yard. But they have a small garden center. They might carry some lumber. I did not see any from parking lot.

Everything you need from quick fixes to fixtures in one place. Got what I needed for a good price and was on my way.

Paganos is a rare gem. The service is over the top. They take the time to listen, and do everything they can to help you. Once I had someone spend 5 min to help me find the right bolt. Why does this matter?. It made me feel great and it's the only hardware store I’ll go to now. Good service and good vibes in retail matter more than ever before. Thanks Paganos.

Bad experience today. Clerk refused to take two pennies from the penny jar and instead gave $.98 in change. It’s for, “people in need”. I understood the social construct of the penny jar is to reduce the amount of change people carry around. Do they ever give the penny jar to people in need?
