Tom did great work! Worked with me on picking out the right color scheme and fabric type, and the cushions have made my boat look new again. I really couldn't ask for more. He's a sole proprietor so be patient and work with him on pick up and delivery times and you will not be disappointed with the craftsmanship. He met all my quality and schedule expectations. I would give time a strong recommendation and will use him for future work.

Based on prior reviews, it appears that Tom is either very responsive or does not respond at all to customers and unfortunately we appear to be in the latter group. On 12/16/18, we started the process to have Tom replace our pontoon boat upholstery and paid the 50% ($1,227,15) to order the needed product to complete the work during the timeline that Tom provided (January 10-16, 2019). The next promised completion date was Feb. 08, 2019; however, the work was not completed. Tom delivered some of the seats and promised to complete the work by that weekend, which was in Feb. It is now April 2, 2019 and multiple calls, texts and emails have gone unanswered, so today I drove to the address listed on the website (8300 Ulmerton Rd. Largo, FL) There was no sign of the Our Ocean Life, LLC business at this address, although several individuals seemed to know Tom and I left my card in the door with yet another request for him to call regarding the status of repairs since my daughter's wedding is this week and we have out of state guests staying with us who were looking forward to a boat ride. It appears that Tom does reply to posts on this site so we are hopeful that he will see this post and complete the work as promised since we were pleased with the partial work completed. I would be very willing to provide a more positive updated review if we can resolve this matter amicably.
UPDATE: Tom was very responsive to my previous feedback and contacted me to complete the job, deapite significant health issues. He delivered the remaining cushions as promised and completed all except the Captain's Chair that I will likely have him recover when we find a replacement. Thanks again Tom for the communication that was needed to complete a quality project.

I am also a victim of Tom's operation. He came to my boat, took measurements, got color match for canvas and I gave him a deposit for material. I had 3 large bolsters and 4 cushions for him to recover. He recovered 1 bolster and botched that one. The seams are not straight. He took the bolsters and cushions and did bring 1 cushion back and I'm left missing 2 bolsters and 3 cushions.

Tom Gregg with Ocean Life Upholstery, LLC in Kenneth City Fl- Took our deposit of $972 on March 20, 2018, and never came to measure or follow up with us. He has not Made our boat top, or tried to contact us to explain why. SYSTEM WOULD NOT LET ME GIVE NO STARS, to enter.

Had Tom do all the upholstery and valances on our 44’ Gulfstar about a year ago. He had things done in a timely manner and the workmanship was excellent. A year later everything still looks brand new.

Unfortunately a similar experience to others on this. Paid a large deposit and work began, and now we have no boat seats and cannot get in touch with Tom via phone, text, email, or at his shop for quite some time despite numerous attempts. Need to hear from Tom ASAP. Need to finish the job or return property and deposit. - Jonathan and Jennifer Williams

Wow what a scam and how HORRIBLE an experience!!!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE....He will take your deposit, do No work except make work for uuu and then say it's your fault....we were sooo worried about his (Tom Greg's) health and wellness and with no communication find out he is ROR
(RELEASE ON OWN RECONNAISSANCE) for same situation with other customers.....come to find out he has a History of doing this to many customers...PLEASE BE AWARE!!!!!

I posted my personal positive experience 3 years ago. I'm taking it down because, after sitting in a Pinellas County Courtroom trial for 2 days now watching 4 other customers testify against this business and its owner, Tom Gregg, I can no longer recommend.
