I wanted to share my pieces that I got from this please. Such a fun project!
I burned the tree in with shotgun powder and a hot pen for outline. And then did the hot pen for the lettering and fill in.

Called them and waited for her to show up, she came and was willing to dig thru a trailer to help me find what I needed. I LOVED her attitude and her effort! She definitely loves her wood ? any wood projects I need in the future, I'm definitely willing to make the hour drive!

I have been wanting to build a epoxy live edge river table for a long time. I had been looking for lumber slabs all over the state and on line. The prices,shipping costs and milling were outrageous. I finally found Mourning Reclaimed wood in Loveland. Upon arrival the slabs in the front window were beautiful and immediately caught my eye. That was nothing compared to the great selection of different species, cuts and dimensions on hand. I found a beautiful cut of red cedar that i just loved. The owner Brandon came in and said he had a bookend cut in the kiln and asked if I wanted to see it. He went to the kiln and came back with several slabs on the back of his motorcycle.( Thats great customer service!) The 2 pieces were a perfect match and exactly what i needed. The milling on these 2 pieces was almost perfect cuts and will require a lot less prep for the final product on my end. Brandon and Larissa were fantastic in every way. From the attitude, the customer service, and going the extra mile for me. I highly recommend going to them for any type of slab lumber. The selection and quality of the product and the knowledge of them can not be beat. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY AROUND. I will be doing business with them agian in the very near future!

Mourning Wood is AWESOME!!! They have such a wide variety of slabs that it’s almost overwhelming. The prices are very competitive and the service is great! I purchased an ash slab that was turned into an epoxy table and I couldn’t have done it without them. If you’re in need of a slab go check them out!!

I made an arrangement with the owner of this company to pay me for 3 black walnut trees once the trees were taken down. It has been over 2 years now, and they are refusing to pay me. They will not respond to phone calls or texts. What he did was he stole from me. I can prove that he did come and take the wood. I have photos of him and texts from him as well.
