I've been using this place for multiple years with multiple different cars and never had any serious issues. But something just happened to me yesterday that has happened to me before there. I brought my car in on Friday for an oil change and they informed me that I needed front brakes. I said OK, let's do it. They said they couldn't do it that night and I had to come back Sunday to do the brakes. When I came back on Sunday, they told me they didn't have the parts and they had to order them. So I had to wait a couple hours For them to get the shop to bring the parts over. I feel like if they knew on Friday that this job was going to be done. They should have made sure that they had the parts in stock in so I didn't have to wait 3 hours. For them to get the parts.
Overall, a great place like I said.I've been using them for years but this has happened a couple times to me.

I walked out of there with more issues than I came with. They had my car for quite a few days. Told me my car was "weird" and had a hard time figuring out the problem. Understandable but if my car was out of your realm of expertise you should have just said so. We opted to change spark plugs and coil packs, which they did. They told me my car was driving great and I can come pick it up. When I came he asked me to write a review right away. Glad I waited as by the time I got home the car was a mess. Check engine light came back on. All 4 cylinders misfiring, which was 5 codes. (I came in with 2 cylinders misfiring as codes). Then two more codes came up for my engine now running lean and high RPM at idle. Engine was shaking, car revved itself at idle, made a lot of noises, and hard shake at shut off. I look under the hood and my engine cover is not on the right way, nor could I get it to fit on, which was strange. Someone came and looked at it and one of the main hoses was not put back on. I get mistakes can happen but now I have to take my car to someone else to make sure there was no damage to my engine and that the original issue is resolved.

This was one of the fastest and most efficient checks I’ve ever had with a mechanic! A check light came on and I was able to get in and out of the building all in the same day! Augie was an incredible help and such an easy person to work with!

Just had a great experience with my man Auggy and his mechanic Steven at the derby Monro Muffler Brake. They got my jeep in and out in a very timely manner and had great customer service. What I thought was going to be an expensive exhaust system replacement turned out to be one small part that they had on site. Thank you guys again and I’ll be back for sure!

Before I get started I gotta say I never leave reviews but this was so bad I had to say something. First of all I made an oil change appointment for noon, showed up at that time and waited about 10 minutes in the “waiting room” if that’s what you wanna call it, it’s a dirty dump, before I got anyone to come in and speak with me. Just so you know employees looked at me several times and made me wait. The kid that came out was in a wife beater ( trashy) and couldn’t care less about helping me. As a matter of fact nobody working had a uniform on and I wouldn’t trust any one of them with my vehicle. Anyway he said I would have to wait because they’re 3 oil changes behind. What’s the point of making an appointment if it means nothing. Looks like corporate gotta get their head out of their rear. I will never be back and I will make sure nobody I know goes there. Absolute joke.

Horrible service center, there was only one guy working and he was shouting all around for too much work. Mechanic was rude to customers as well, he even don’t ask what need to be done in the car or don’t give me any feedback about the vehicle. Very dirty waiting area.

I brought my car in to replace a dead battery. I worked directly with Auggie - he was great! He was super nice and helpful - even waited after they closed for me to drop my car off early so I didn't risk having to run the battery longer. He got me onto the schedule for the very next morning which was a lifesaver. Great service and super friendly! Thanks so much for helping me!

Absolutely awfully run place. Don’t even waste your time making an appointment. Made an appointment and when I showed up I was told I did not have an appointment. I was told the 3rd party that that books their appointment cannot see their appointment list. I’m not sure how this makes any sense. Made another appointment via this third party and made sure I called Monro Auto directly to confirm. When I showed up for my appointment I was told by an associate that he’d need to contact his boss to see if he’d be able to perform the service. I guess his boss wasn’t onsite. Really can’t make this shit up. I really don’t know how they keep their doors open. You couldn’t pay me to go back to this place.
