Just ordered 8.5k worth of cedar lap siding. Every bit of it is so bowed and twisted. Can’t believe they are charging that much per LF, and have this bad of quality control. For an order this big, the pieces should be inspected before loading onto the truck.

It's sad to see good employees poorly managed and have to do too much for too many customers when it's not even crowded. Watched a manager type come down from the upstairs offices and ignore customers while sneaking around through the back of the Pro Desk area to avoid cutomer contact. I wanted to yell over, "We can all see you avoiding eye contact with us while we're waiting in line here." Note: generally speaking- good managers jump in and help their employees when they are overwhelmed.

Editing my review. I just went here for the last time. I've never been treated so poorly at any store I've ever been to. The woman behind the desk was crazy rude just because I didn't know what species of wood I wanted to buy. Wow.

If you're not a contractor, Meek's doesn't want your business. Save yourself the trip.

Horrible customer service
Got caught in a summer thunder storm and came in to get a tarp to cover clothes and our babys stroller and playback. Their credit card machine wasn't working and I asked if I could throw the tarp on my truck while they fixed the situation. The young lady response was your problems not my problem and walked of. The cashier and the manager both apologized yet didn't stop her from saying other things as I was about to leave. I left the store with her raising her arms in the air saying that's what you get coming to a family store yet the manager trying to apologize as I'm walking out for her behavior. Maybe don't apologize to me but solve the customer server problem that you all have.

Went in to simply get boards and did NOT receive any assistance from the 8 Vacant employees standing around conversing . Finally got to the register after going out of my way to ask where to Purchase 12”foot boards and after standing in line for a time, I was routed to a second register around a corner, again absent assistance inside with the perturbingly long boards. Ended up walking out without purchasing anything. I refuse to support The inside employees negligence and now repudiate Meeks lumber altogether.
