On Friday night our Whirlpool dryer stopped producing heat, Saturday morning we made contact with Maytag Quality Parts & Service in Prescott. Brandon with Maytag parts hooked us up with the part we needed to repair our dryer. Brandon was super helpful over the phone, and in person. Called regarding a Maytag Centennial washer misbehaving. Was told the 10-year-old machine was not worth repairing and offered to forward me to sales. After doing an internet search regarding symptoms I opted to order $48 parts from Amazon (transmission actuator) 3 screws and 1/2 an hour later the machine runs like new.
Please at least get a second opinion elsewhere before trusting in these people.

The people at Maytag Quality Parts and Services are GREAT. My old dryer is working as good as new and it saved me a pocket full of cash. I am glad I have you guys to count on for my latest laundry disaster. (3 days without a dryer is impossible when you have 3 teenagers). They are fast, friendly, honest, and affordable. I have a washer and dryer set that I bought here when I moved to Prescott 20 years ago. I only now required service for them. Maytag Quality Parts & Services' service has been fantastic. Adam, service/repair person, replaced parts in both units and now my washer/dryer will hopefully live another 20 years. Adam even brought equipment to blow out the dryer vent. I really appreciated this company's service and someday when I finally need a new set, I will go straight to them.

WARNING: $80 for "service call" (1/4 mile trip). That's just to come out and look. First I heard about it was on the invoice. I was never warned, so this is your warning!

The service technician was capable of replacing an igniter, but the price of the part was doubled. That's $89.95 for a $40 part. Look elsewhere for your handyman. Look for repairmen on Craig's List. These guys are taking advantage of folks who are new in town.

Worst used washer. Have to babysit it through the spin cycle. They replaced a part and then said the warranty is used. Still sucks!
