My husband and I went through two mattresses in less than a year from companies trending on social media. After deciding we really needed to test a mattress we went into Matthew’s Mattress in Citrus Heights. A gentleman named Jason greeted us and pointed us in the direction of the firm mattresses. He was super knowledgeable and helpful.
There were a ton of mattresses for testing but when we found the Michelle pillow top mattress we knew we’d found our match. As we were sitting down to finalize details he asked if we had any family in the military, and I mentioned our nephew, who serves in the Navy. Jason immediately got on the phone with Mr. Matthews, the owner, and asked if he could extend us the military discount. Mr. Matthews said yes, so long as we thanked our nephew for his service and recommended his mattress shop to anyone who was in the market. We are happy to do both!
We really appreciate the time Jason and Mr. Matthews took to save us some money. That is very rare these days.
After finalizing the delivery details and purchase. On the date of delivery the movers called and texted with a 45 minute lead time, and again at 30 minutes. They were prompt and polite, and a pleasure to work with.
We had been warned that the mattress needed a breaking in period but it was so comfortable the first, night, and every night since.
I am so glad we made the decision to go to Matthew’s Mattress first. They are a small local business who have served this community for years. We had planned to hit up a few mattress shops, but the quality of their signature brand was obvious.

We have bought several mattresses from Mathew’s and have always been pleased with their service. This time we had a specific need. My husband has sleep apnea and finds it impossible to sleep on his back. We wanted to try a bed that allowed him to raise the head and foot of the bed. I, on the other hand, can not sleep with my head raised. We were looking for a split bed which would meet both of our needs. Ann was extremely helpful showing us a selection of this type of bed. We were able to get one in a California King size. The bed was delivered to our home and set up for us. The old bed was even removed so that we didn’t have to deal with discarding it. Mathews customer service is top notch. We will use them again.

Jason at Matthews Mattress provided excellent service. He was patient and informative as I tried out several mattresses more than once. The delivery was exceptional as well. Great employees, wonderful prices, and excellent service. I’ll be back for my next mattress!

Was a great experience. Had stopped off here prior to heading to a chain mattress store. Very glad we did.
No pressure experience, was able to talk about our needs and try out each bed for as long as we wanted. Love working with a local business and they treat their local customers right.
Delivery available next day and the delivery guys arrived at the beginning of the window given. Was great not to have to sit around waiting. Removed our old mattress and brought in the new one and we were good to go in 5 mins or so. Have already recommended to others and would do so again

The gentleman that helped us was very informative, kind and never pushy. He helped us to find a mattress in our price range and made the purchasing process so easy! Delivery turn around time was only a matter of days and they took away our old mattress too!

I am so very happy I chose Matthews as the source for my new bed. Jason, in the Citrus Heights, store was so nice and helpful and informative. I am so very pleased Matthews has its own delivery service. The gentlemen were polite, respectful, efficient and friendly. I had my bed the next day and I’m more than happy with my choice.

The service and price I received from Matthews Mattress on Greenback was exceptional. I visited the store a few times and also did some comparison shopping at other places. I believe I received the best price possible for the type of mattress I chose and I was given a very considerate veterans discount. My bed was delivered 3 days (my choice) later and the delivery crew were friendly, efficient and thorough. I would definitely buy from Matthews again and I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a bed!

My experience with Matthews Mattress was well received, I dealt with Jason and he was very kind, knowledgeable and was very patient while my nephew and I took our time trying to figure out what mattress would be the best fit for him and one for his sister, your company should be proud to have an employee like Jason who possesses the qualities of a great salesperson and not a pushy one like the big box stores hires, this is the reason why I support local business, the delivery people were also great even though they had to come back a second time because they delivered alot earlier than anticipated and we were not home, they were great guys working on a very hot and humid day, thank you Matthews Mattress for a great customer/delivery service, I will purchase there again
