I purchased a dryer in April of last year, which stopped working within a month. They came and replaced the motor at no cost to me. Then, about two weeks before the end of the six month warranty they provided, it stopped working again. They sent someone to replace a broken drive belt - again at no cost to me. I had to wait a few days for each of the appointments, which is pretty inconvenient if you're someone that has a lot of laundry to do.

Unfortunately, three months later, it has the same problem (drum won't spin) and appears to need a new drive belt again. I spoke with them and they're not willing to fix it again for free, even if I'm correct that they put in a part that was almost at the end of its life.

Essentially, you get what you pay for! Old machines and used replacement parts at an affordable price if you can't swing the cost of a new one, but don't expect it to last you for long.

No AC in the shop, at least at the time I went, so it was an unpleasant shopping experience as well. I will say that the employees are nice, at least!

I've been buying appliances here on and off throughout my life.. good old fashion stuff that actually works. I would rather buy any of the stuff they have to offer over all the new stuff. No planned obsolescence here. Just stuff the way it used to be. Stuff that works! Nice, straightforward business. Good service and guarantees when applicable and they stand behind what they say. From small business owners to small business owners.. this is the type of thing that keeps you in business for over 20 years.

People are nice until you have a problem. My suggestion would be to stay away. It may cost more to use a local dealer that can fix problems. That is my suggestion to all consumers. This is what you will get. This is for Appliance connection not Magnum appliance as it says above.

Beware if you call them for repair work!! We had a large capacity GE washer that was less than five years old. It quit spinning so we called to see if they could repair it. We were told that it was not fixable because the transmission was shot, so they offered to sell us a used one and take the broken one away. We got a much smaller and older one (it was the best they had in the shop at the time). After a couple months it also quit spinning. The repair man came and did some work for no charge, since they offered a 6 month warrantee. He said it should be good, but if it quit working again it was the transmission. He told me to only fill it half full, which I did. After a few more months (8 months total since we bought it), it quit spinning again. I called again and was told that it was out of warrantee, so I would have to pay to have someone come out. I'm not going to do that since they will probably do the same thing as they did with our previous, which they most likely fixed and resold since it was much nicer than anything they had in the shop. It's a shame that the one we bought didn't even last a year. I will not do business there again.

We hired Magnum to fix our refrigerator that isn’t cooling. They came out last Thursday and told us what problem is and had to order parts. They knew we were going out of town for a couple of weeks and needed the repair done before we left but didn’t bother to get back to us to come fix it before we leave. Beware before you hire them.

Rude, lacks integrity, and are liars. Do not use them. I have a taped conversation stating 2-3 p.m. appointment. I canceled my physical therapy to a later tune to accommodate them. Called at 3:01 p.m., and the person was blatantly lying, was very condescending, and an inappropriate representation as a professional and a decent human being.
I have no tolerance for people that lack integrity.
