A friend enthusiastically referred me to Karen to help me with planning and furnishing a very large open concept living room/dining room/kitchen that had good bones but with white walls and little personality. I didn't know where to start. From the beginning, Karen understood my eclectic style and created a comprehensive design that included everything from paint choices, fabric choices, furniture, rugs, accent pieces and artwork. The result is elegant and classy but also informal, cozy and comfortable, exactly what I wanted. During the process, I learned that Karen is also an artist and draws exquisite renderings of flowers, some she has photographed from her own garden. I purchased three, had them framed and proudly display them in my home. She has a page on her website devoted to her artwork. Karen was so easy to work with and easily incorporated my preferences into the design. She has incredible taste and helped me make my house a beautiful home. I'm thrilled with the results. If you are considering using a designer to help you create beauty in your home or business, Karen should be at the top of your list.

Karen Zenniel, LHP Interiors, was highly recommended by a good friend. We moved to our house in June 2019 after the Camp Fire. I had wanted to redo the master bath and change out all the doors in the house from day one. The whole project seemed daunting, partly due to my limited mobility but mostly due to the many, many choices. Then Karen came to the rescue. She project managed all aspects of each step seamlessly from the two bathroom renovations, to beautiful woodwork throughout, to the new hardwood floors to the repainting of the whole house. Karen discussed choices/possibilities at every step. Her artist’s eye is impeccable. Her talents extend to beautiful floral renderings (on her website) of which I have four proudly displayed on my walls. Karen is so personable and enjoyable to work with. She is detail oriented, and took the time to rearrange pictures and plates on my walls, as well as place collectibles, baskets and photo frames on bookcases, a china cabinet and furniture surfaces in every room. Karen has transformed our house into a warm, welcoming, wonderful home that we both truly love!! No matter which room, I look around at all of Karen’s touches and I smile--it all makes me very happy!!!

She has access to quality subcontractors, and did an excellent job keeping the project running smoothly. We have had LHP Interiors and Karen help us with two of our homes - The first home was quite a make-over and came out beautiful - From paint, carpets, accessories, new furniture - she exceeded our expectations. What we wanted was a little difficult as it was an East meets West type of decor we were wanting - She designed it perfectly!!

We downsized into a smaller home in 2019, and we were at loss in choosing new furniture that would go well with the few antiques that we wanted to keep. Karen, owner of LHP Interiors, came to the rescue and assisted us with choosing a color scheme, new living room furniture and accessaries. She helped us place the furniture as well as decorate our new home with pictures and accessories. We are happy customers and highly recommend Karen as your interior decorator.
