Avoid this company. We hired LVI to make a custom sectional and a set of drapes for my daughter’s room. The sectional construction was farmed out by them to an unknown upholsterer and then delivered to our house without any quality check...legs were the wrong color wood, fabric was yellow and not the brown we ordered, and it smelled of fish/terrible odor that got on our clothes after sitting on the sectional. They did not check the fabric when it arrived to determine if the new dye lot matched the sample. So the fabric went onto the custom sectional...what a waste of time and money. They refuse to refund our deposit and we do not have a sectional.
Second, my daughter’s drapes are 1-2 inches short/above the floor. They do not look custom. Additionally, they were installed with unfinished hem and frayed trim. It appears they ran out of trim and and tried to hide this. See photos of the sectional and drapes.
Finally, do not waste time looking at the extensive fabrics in the store. Many are discontinued, and you will not find out until you’ve made your selection and Lakeville Interiors collects your deposit. That is when they checked availability and then informed us several fabrics we selected are discontinued. They refused to refund our deposits. We wasted months of time and money. Avoid this company! Go elsewhere to spend your money and time.

Appalling service. Two sisters own the establishment. One is the designer. She was never available. 2 times she did not show for the appointment and was instead handed off to the other sister, who was very nice but knew nothing about the fabrics or options. Then weeks after our request, the absent designer had her sister show us 5 fabrics, one of which we liked but then it turned out to be out of stock, wasting another week of our time. They may be good but clearly $3-4,000 reupholstery projects are not of interest to them.

Helped me pick out furniture for my den. It is a very small space so definitely benefited from a designer's eye. I ended up with beautiful fabrics, that I would have never picked on my own, and with a truly unique looking space. So many compliments! Wonderful people to work with.
