I bought a refrigerator from Karl’s Appliance & Air-conditioning service LLC on 7/30/2024 and they delivered it the next day (7/31) at around noon. My toilet overflowed the same day the refrigerator died, and so it just so happened that the toilet was being fixed at the same time the refrigerator was being delivered, so I was a little distracted.
Karl (the owner) and an assistant delivered the new refrigerator and took away my old one. When they did that, they damaged 4 planks of my vinyl wood floors. (see the picture) Deep cuts in the vinyl. Karl said to wait 24 hours to put food in the fridge because it needed time to cool down, so I didn't notice the floor was cut & scraped. He did not own up to the fact that he damaged my floors. He was hoping I wouldn't notice at the time he was leaving. I went to work and saw the damage when I got back home.
I called Karl the next day. I asked him how he could make this right and help with fixing the damaged planks. He changed his story and lied to me. He said the floors were already like that and then offered me $200 off my next purchase in his store. (If he didn't do the damage, why would he offer me $200 off my next purchase with him?)
Also, $200 off another purchase with him does not fix my laminate wood floors!!
I told him I would investigate the cost of fixing the damage and get back to him. He already cashed my check for the refrigerator and are he's not willing to pay for the damage they caused.
I've gotten quotes and all the companies say I need to replace the vinyl planks. I have at least 6 witnesses that can attest to the fact that the floors were not that way before the damage happened on 7/31/24.
That is bad business and very unethical practices. I have reported him to the Better Business Bureau.
I would not buy anything else from this business and I strongly recommend you going somewhere else. If you ever have a problem with their service or products, this is the kind of person you're dealing with.

We bought a refrigerator, washer, dryer, and dishwasher from this company and nothing but the dryer (after we had to take it back & exchange it) works properly. This company charges almost top dollar for old half fixed appliances. Very disappointing! We were told there were no refunds, we would have to just get store credit. We had to bring our washer & dryer back to the store to be fixed and the washer still isn’t working properly. My husband was told we would have to fix the knob ourselves. People work hard for their money & I feel like we were taken advantage of and treated like we were doing something wrong. When taking our washer & dryer back the store owner reacted as if we were trying to get over on him when we simply just wanted a washer & dryer that worked properly. Our refrigerator went out not even 30 days of having it & we had to pay more money to get it diagnosed and fixed!! I truly hope this company does better but I do not recommend.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. Very disappointed. Everything I bought failed in less than 90 days. I bought a fridge, washer and dryer, and dishwasher. I only have myself to blame. And no he’s not going to rectify the problem I’ve already tried. Kudos to y’all that had good luck, but I don’t recommend it for the rest of y’all.

Highly recommend this appliance store! June, our salesperson was absolutely fantastic! We had a problem with the washing machine we purchased but she was quick to get someone out that day to replace. My new washing machine works great! Fair prices, good quality and excellent customer service!
