I had a less than positive experience at J’s Appliances. I purchased a stove that sat unused in a home that took longer to renovate than the warranty period covered. The stove was never used prior to the first time we turned it on. The first time we turned it on the broiler and oven did not heat up. When I called J’s Appliances to see what they could do to help me out they refused to provide any assistance. They wouldn’t exchange the stove, they wouldn’t refund the purchase or even provide guidance in trouble shooting. J’s Appliances didn’t stand behind their product. They didn’t even offer store credit. While I understand the warranty period expired it would have been nice to at least have had good customer service/ support. I don’t recommend purchasing appliances from J’s Appliances.

Just recently bought a washer & dryer set from this small family business & I can honestly say I am in love with how good the transaction went. The machines were practically brand new. The installation they kindly offer you was much appreciated. It was super easy to do business with Viviana and Jose's awesome assistance! Will come back!

I purchased a full set of appliances from them earlier this summer. Unfortunately, there have been defects with all the appliances but the major one is the refrigerator. I have been reaching out for over a month with no response and my calls being forwarded. They clearly do not want to honor the warranty. Sometimes the savings are not worth the hassle, buyers please do research before purchasing.

I am a contractor and a property manager. I always need appliances and thought I would try this company. I couldn’t have had a worse experience. They sell poor condition used appliances that do not get checked out before they are sold. They are not cleaned well, they do not function as intended and they are reconditioned by people who don’t know what they are doing. My experience is this: The products that were delivered we’re supposed to be installed but they weren’t. I had to send someone back to finish the job. Also, I bought the appliances in the beginning of November but my new tenant didn’t move in until January. After they moved in almost every appliance had something wrong with it. Stove, fridge, washer & dryer. In February the tenant called me and told me the dryer was making a loud squealing noise and the washing machine would stop mid cycle and then water would leak on the floor. I called Vivian, the owner and she told me that my warranty had expired and there was nothing she could do. This was 8 days after the 90 day “warranty” but only 6 weeks since the tenant moved in. I bought almost $2,000 worth of appliances from them, $800 just for the washer and dryer. Any good business would take care of their customers. Not this business. Watch out. Caveat Emptor. They do not stand behind their products at all. I will not give them any future business. I would not recommend them and in fact I will warn all of my contractor and Landlord friends never to buy anything from them.

What a great and easy transaction for exactly what I needed. I moved into a new apartment and needed to buy all my appliances fast, and I was able to find everything there! Viviana helped me locate everything in the store and I found everything for a great price. On top of that they got everything to my apartment that same day and helped me install everything. I have several properties in CT and I have never encountered a problem with this company.

They have excellent customer service and they have always worked with me when an issue came up. On one incident , my warranty had expired and they were able to work with me to get it fixed.

I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for reasonable prices and good quality on used appliances.

Drove to Jay's from Brattleboro Vermont.told them would be there by 430. Arrived at 429 with no sign of life in building. Door was locked but sign said open till 6. Thanks for wasting my time and gas. I would like to be reimbursed for my 50 in gas but if they cant be there when they say i doubt they will refund me.will now look eksewhere as i dont want to waste another day. We called to say we were comming you would think they would ensure someone would be there. Not sure the place is legit as there are no business signs just the address spray painted on the building. Worst experience ever. If you want my business you will need to deliver the stove free of charge and prove it works before you get any money.You remind me of a shyster
