JMX Brands is the parent company of Dutch Crafters. Buyer BEWARE - you will be charged a 20% restocking fee even if your order arrives poorly built or damaged!
We had the unfortunate experience of ordering children's beds that arrived unsanded with a very sloppy stain job (drips, splatters, pooling, a hand print - as shown in photos). Per our request, JMX Brand Dutch Crafters replaced the beds with unfinished pieces so that I can complete the finish myself. However, we were still required to pay a $316 restocking fee for the junk that was initially sent to us. I asked DutchCrafters several times to waive the restocking of this obviously poor product, but they insisted on the payment. Please be aware of this possibility if you consider a purchase from DutchCrafters - you could end up with something like the beds pictured in this review!

DutchCrafters dba JMX Brands Inc. has serious quality issues! Served in the military for over 20 years. Based on all the moves decided to wait to invest in some good quality furniture. Both DutchCrafters/JMX Brands pride themselves on Amish (quality) workmanship which is misleading. It took 1.5 years to receive my entire order (desk, credenza, TV stand & 5 book shelves). Both credenza and desk were sent back multiple times due to quality issues. Each time they picked up and returned it, it either returned with the same quality issues or it was returned with a new quality issue(s). This went back and forth for 1 year. This does not include the 6 months it took to make the furniture. I would never do business with them again. Several attempts were made to compensate for their lack of quality but time, inconvenience, and poor quality can never be totally compensated. They need a new Quality Control System in place until they do Buyers beware!

Steve Doe at JMX was extremely helpful in trying to find a particular piece of Amish folk art, even sending me several photos. It's rare you find customer service like that. And the range of hand-crafted items they offer is truly impressive.
