They are the best. There is only one store for building. The other store is for decoration.. we know what that one is called. I did a few jobs recently as GC on orcas and island hardware was the go to. I’m used to bigger lumber yards, and it was real when I handed in my invoice to the guy to have him double check my count he said “I trust you” which shows just how mom and pops this place is. Now I’m not one to get one over or take advantage, so this was really cool and made me purchase actually faster and more enjoyable - would highly recommend

They are a gas station as well. They also have a tire inflator so you can put air in your tire.

A little of everything you could possibly need on the Island. Lumber yard in back, and clothing upstairs. Don't miss the free popcorn inside, and 50¢ soda machine outside

For an island hardware store I was surprised to find how well-stocked it is. Seemed to have almost everything.

And I found proof that 1 sleeve of Oreos is a single serving.

It really is a great place to shop. The staff even remembered my dogs name. They are quick with dog treats, free cofee & cookies and knowledgeable employees. Somthing lacking in the big box stores on the mainland.

I love this store. We moved to Orcas a couple of months ago from Denver and we had access to home Depot and all the big box places. I'm a frequent hardware shopper and honestly I was a little worried about whether we would find what we needed on the island. This place is great. It's amazing how much stuff they have tucked away here and there. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Not to criticize anyone else but this is definitely the best hardware experience on the island and even if I still lived in Denver I'd probably go here
