My wood stove door needed a new seal. They did a great job. I picked it up today. I received it back squeaky clean. And it wasn’t squeaky clean when I brought it in. Also, my door handle was sticking when I’d turn it. I didn’t mention it to them, but when I received my door back the handle was super smooth to turn. Much better than the way I brought it in! They were very nice and friendly. They also went out of their way when I came back to pick it up. I was tight on time so I asked over the phone if they could run it out to me and put it in the back of my truck when I pulled up. And as soon as I pulled up they walked out with the door. Thank you!

So very sad and disappointed with Icon Hearth and Home. Bought a free standing stove from them back in early October. Gave deposit and was told it would be in stock towards end of Nov. Went into store last week to check status and was told that item would not be delivered until the New Year but they could get us the floor model. When we called for delivery we were told that the unit had been given to another customer in the same situation as us. Yet they came in 4 days after us ! A total bait and switch. Not only that we were speaking with friends who bought a "new unit" from Icon in September and when they came to get their stove they were told the same thing! and given the floor unit. TOTALLY TOTALLY disappointed. We tried to support local but local didn't want to support us. Just a shame that they can't keep their sales and promises straight.

Very nice showroom. The salesperson Roberto was knowledgeable and friendly.. we ordered a Kozy Heat fireplace. We have had one for about 10 years and it has been problem free.. so we were glad they rep Kozy Heat. We are adding this to our new home.

Having a problem with a propane heater stove, wouldn't keep lite, called for a service tech, no one answered the phone after several attempts over several days. Husband dropped in to inquire about getting a tech to our home to diagnose the problem. The tech arrived late into the end of the day several days after scheduling, my dog is real friendly, but she barked, I assured him that she wouldn't bite, and his comment was "that's ok! As long as she doesn't bite me in the man parts" WHAT? I should have known then, but I ignored the comment and let him inside. After an hour of trouble shooting he mentioned one part needed replacing, however another part is also worn, and I should replace that too! I paid him his service fee $130.00 and away he went, he will order the parts, and call us. Two weeks later, a woman called my husband needing payment prior to ordering, she was certain she could "overnight" the part and btw it looked as if the tech did not order the other needed part maybe he decided it wasn't needed afterall.! Ok, she scheduled the appointment, it so happened to be on the same day my husband was having "oral surgery" we have been so cold in our home, we had to purchase small heaters to help, shutting off unused rooms. I called on this day to get a time when he would be arriving, so as not to miss him. I was at my home with my very sick husband, the tech never showed! I called the office number to ask why no phone call, and got a call back from the teafter all. His phone ran out of juice, sorry, but he would make it tomorrow between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. He showed at 5:15, brought the part, installed it, still not working correctly, same issue.. Well now it seems that it's a bad wire! Nope, maybe it's a wall thermostat, Nope, it could be a short somewhere!? he left my fireplace torn apart with exposed wire and, then he decided it was the part that he didn't order? When my husband asked when we can get the part, he had no answer, he would call us, the whole time he's getting more impatient, and visually frustrated by the questions anyone would ask, and he would have to charge us yet another service call! Mind you, this was the one of the parts he said WE NEEDED! He abruptly threw his tools into his bag and speed out of our drive, as he kept repeating that he JUST HAS TO GET OUTTA HERE! Wait, What? This person needs to find another line of work, hopefully not in the service industry dealing with customers! I found him to be offensive, not to mention obviously trying to line pockets! Terrible!!

Buyers beware!!! $270.00 LATER UGH!!! Maybe it should have been a German Shepard, and not my loving dachshund! Got home from work today, sick, cold husband at home, let's me know the tech showed back without calling, put stove backing on unit, left wires he took apart hanging, but enclosed at least, then mentioned he didn't know what could be the problem. So we paid for the wrong part, he hasn't ordered the part he said he needed that he forgot the day before, and repeated his favorite quote " I gotta get outta here". Never have I ever had so called Ser ice like this! No call from Nixon's store, or owner. I'll be contacting the BBB on this, and file with small claims on this business!!!

The people there are curious, nolagable and very helpful. I didn't buy my wood stove there. But, they were able to look up the parts I needed for one I was given. I will always go there first for all my wood stove parts and questions.
