This was our first experience with Howard’s Appliances and it was a very positive one. We ordered a SpeedQueen washer from their website. It was not only discounted from the MSRP, but also included another reduction. The OTD price was lower than the sale price at other stores. They also included free next day delivery, installation, and haul-away…which other locations charged over $200 for the same services. What I really liked was the level of communication from Howard’s. They sent email confirmations of my purchase, instructions for preparation before delivery, a photo and the contact information for my delivery person, they called the night before with a (non-negotiable) 2-hour delivery window, and even texted/called 30 minutes before arrival (as I requested in the order “comments”. The team that showed up were fast, friendly, wore Howard’s uniform shirts, and were very efficient in the delivery and installation of our new washer. He tested the unit, explained some of its features to me, and answered all of my questions. Seriously!! What more could you ask. In the past, we purchased from Warehouse Appliance chains, Big Box home improvement stores, and electronic chains…no one but a certain membership department store came close in service…but, all lacked the communication Howard’s offers its customer. BTW, I cannot recommend SQ washers enough. We have had at least a half dozen different washers over the years, top loaders, front loaders, etc. None perform like a SQ. It’s a bit of an investment ($$), but I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the build quality, performance, and speed of the unit….and remember…but it from Howard’s!..lol. Good luck! RS

Great customer service provided by Sean. Price matched giving us a significant discount. Love that they deliver for free. I even got my “white” refrigerator next day. Most next day deliveries are the stainless refrigerators. Overall it was an exceptional experience and we are happy.

We recently purchased a speed queen dryer and the salesman was nice . Shortly after we got the new dryer the washer broke . We had purchased it at Howard’s a few years back , when we had a problem with the speed queen washing machine and called about the warranty the person that answered the phone was very rude .She basically called me a liar ,saying I didn’t buy the washer there .I knew we had but check our records to confirm we had. We had been told the washer had a 5 year warranty but it only had a three year and now I’m no worried the new dryer only has a three warranty as well . I felt like they were only nice when were buying something . We also got a dishwasher for a different home a month ago . I guess we won’t be going to Howard’s after the person we spoke to was so short tempered .

Complete disappointment of a company. I ordered a speed queen washer and I found out they offered price match. I found the same washer on a different company’s website for $130 cheaper so I contacted Howard’s. A female employee helped me out and confirmed with her boss that the price match was accepted and that I needed to wait 3 weeks for the price match refund to be reflected on my credit card. I waited 3 weeks and I never heard back so I followed up with the Howard’s. I got told they did not have any record of this and that they were unable to honor my price match. They said that I had to find the same deal from over a month ago from the time i found the listing. Anthony Rosario was extremely useless and avoided my phone calls and emails. Complete disappointment of a company. If you’re looking to waste your time with an unprofessional appliance company, Howard’s is a great fit.

Update: I was asked to contact Howard’s to see if there was something they could do. I was ignored yet again.. comical.

I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Howard's Appliances Inc. at their Corona location. During their Labor Day sales, I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator and an LG washer and an LG dryer. The salesperson, Robert, assured me that Howard's would price match lower prices I found on Home Depot's website, which was a key reason I chose to make the purchase there.

However, when my delivery arrived on September 28, I received an Amana dryer instead of the LG dryer I ordered. I had never heard of Amana and did not agree to any substitution, so I refused the delivery. Howard's agreed to take it back and deliver the correct LG model.

The situation took a turn when I followed up on September 29. Robert suddenly began blaming me for the issue, claiming I needed to pay the price difference between the Amana dryer (which I never ordered) and the LG dryer. On top of that, he said I would have to either pay this difference or face a 25% restocking fee. He also informed me that even if I paid the difference, the LG dryer would take over two weeks to be delivered.

Robert referred me to a manager named Armando. Despite my repeated attempts to contact him, I never received a response. Later, I was informed by another salesperson, Jody, that Armando refused to engage with my case and that it would be escalated to a regional manager. I waited for two days with no response.

When I contacted Robert again on October 1 to follow up, he promised that a manager would call me back. However, he abruptly hung up, and as of now(Oct. 12), no one from Howard's has reached out to resolve this issue. I am still waiting for my dryer. I feel that Howard's Appliances has handled this situation in a highly unprofessional manner, with misleading sales practices, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability.
