Old white lady with short blonde hair; you should be ashamed of yourself for how you treat disabled people. For an establishment that prides itself online for being "wheelchair accessible," making comments assuming that a guest would be breaking merchandise just because they use crutches is absolutely absurd. Saying such a thing to someone the second they enter your store is appalling. Why volunteer somewhere if you're going to be discriminatory?

I was looking forward to browsing the store today after spending months recovering from a fractured ankle. I took two steps into the store with my crutches and an older woman with short blonde hair looked me up and down and immediately said “You better be careful with those crutches or else you may be going home with what you break.” without even a hello or smile first. I walked right out with tears in my eyes. I am well aware that I need to be careful with the crutches I’ve been using for months. An abled-bodied person does not need to tell me that. Fortunately, I will recover from my injury with time, but this woman doesn’t know that. My heart aches for chronically disabled people who require assistive equipment and are faced with such unwelcoming people. Especially when such establishments list themselves as “wheelchair accessible” online. I understand the store is run by mostly volunteers, however this does not excuse discriminatory remarks. Please do better. Very disappointing experience. There are other fantastic non-profit thrift stores in Branford.

Was in there today to do a consignment , and do have an account, and was told they couldn't take them in because of room and was told to leave them outside, as I'm walking out another lady was coming in with a bigger item than my food processor, a few day before when I visited , I was told that I could bring 10 items a day, I was only bringing in 3 to 4 items
Not a good way to run a business, telling people one thing and doing another.

Very clean, well stocked shop with high quality merchandise. The volunteers make you feel like family. Went today for a chair I saw online and left with that, two rockers and other treasures. Great job ladies!❤

I love visiting this lovely boutique thrift shop. Quality is very high but prices are more than reasonable. Items are nicely displayed in a clean, well organized space. The staff, all volunteers I believe, could not be lovelier and more helpful.

Lovely staff, very respectful. Nice selection and it's for a great cause. I always donate my lightly worn clothes here. And I always go home with something for myself.
